Warmog's suggestion: Grey Health

Problem: Warmog's invalidates poke.

Solution: Don't let Warmog's heal all the poke damage.

Implementation: Grey health is the perfect concept here. Yes, it steps on TK's toes a bit, but I think it's a much healthier way to make Warmog's work. Instead of healing you back to full, just allow it to heal 50% (# subject to balance) of that damage back, indicated by the grey health bar.

Not a solution they would be willing to do before worlds, probably, but something that might make the item better balanced for future seasons.

It feels like a waste already in most matchups. And I’m quite sure it’s already one of the least commonly seen tanky items. Most tanky items give some sort of benefit aside from durability. Dead mans plate gives speed and a bit of damage, omen gives an AOE slow. Visage some CDR for more utility.. all of these give a nice edge in team battles and skirmishes. Warmogs has none of those things. It lets you heal up if you survive a fight. And it gives no benefit to your team unless your team has somehow come out on top of a team fight to begin with. And now you want to make it worse?

The issue here -- and this is the problem with health-bar-based design space on a per-champion basis -- is that this gets confusing on characters who HAVE grey health. It's a nice solution to the Warmog's issue, definitely, but you have to first get around the potentially awful interactions with Tahm Kench and the complete lack of clarity that would exist there, as well as the design issue with any future characters that use grey health in any way.

That said, I do really like the solution -- I just think this is a large potential issue that would need a plan to resolve it.

That or nerf the 800 health it gives and make it harder to reach the 3k health point for warmogs heart

GUYS. WHO EVEN BUILDS WARMOGS???

And if he is that big of a problem. . .WHICH HE ISNT because he sacrifices dmg for health (unless mundo) THEN BUILD LETHALITY

Armor Counters Lethality, Lethality counters health, & constant damage counters Armor (Ex. Rageblade, or new critical items)

Like seriously warmogs is not a problem atm

I'd be fine with warmog's invalidating poke if it didn't have all that meat attached to it. As I said elsewhere, get rid of the HP and the encouragement to build HP and I think this item would be better. Maybe give it a second passive that also refines it's strength vs poke but weakens you vs burst... like you lose 25% of your AR and MR while you are regenerating from the passive and for 2 seconds after taking damage if it's in effect.
