Nocturne's mad skillz to get really high crowd control scores

Between the 10% ult cooldown on takedowns and 15% ult cooldown, Nocturne gets a lot of ultimate, someone who benefits strongly from both masteries. Which results in really high crowd control scores since every time you press R you apply Darkness to 5 enemy champions. Also I think it applies for every second of darkness, not sure on that one, at which case you get +30 crowd control score every time you press R.

Least deserving CC scores, but not much you can do otherwise to change it since darkness is a CC that is entirely vision remove.

I play a good bit of support, but seriously, why does CC score matter? You don't get anything for having the biggest bar on a post-game graph. Even if it is a misrepresentation, you know that is so you can just disregard it.

Because utility based champions, namely supports ussually check the CC and vision scores, its not like they farm or take kills. And pretty much every game with Nocturne, he will have 3 times higher cc score than any champion by just using his ult to gapclose. And they also have to compete with Assasins with duskblade for vision score :)

But does Nocturne actually get anything from having a high CC score? Like does he get more lp or is this just a case of "his bar on this post-game graph is bigger than it should be"

Im pretty sure you dont get any extra lp for having the most dmg, kills or whatever score on the graph. But its a normal thing to check your graph and compare to others, its about checking your post game performance, there isnt any actual ingame gains.

I agree, but knowing that Nocturne's CC score may be a misrepresentation, you can (and probably should) just disregard it

Ok guys i finally found a reason why cc score matters xD There is a challenge from Redbuff where they reward players with the highest cc/min and people are abusing nocturn there, so this post was really helpful xD
