Nasus and Infinite Stacking Champions need reworks

There is 0 reason for infinite stacking to exist in this game. Champions like this, but espeically Nasus are incredibly annoying and unfun to play against.

But my main issue is Nasus.

Issue 1: You cannot push him into tower because he still sits there stacking. He will use his passive to get back HP, and be happy to farm under tower until he outscales you. So you cannot push against him because you will lose. You will either give him a safe farm area, or get ganked and he can slow you and kill you.

Issue 2: Far too much gank setup early game. I'll compare him to Vladimir or Veigar (both who scale very well, almost unbeatable at 3 or 6 items). Veigar has a highly telegraphed cage. It's easily avoidable, and is fair CC. Vladimir's only gank setup is his pool, which slows by 40%, but the enemy has to step into the pool. Not gonna happen most times, so he has about no gank setup, while Veigar has some gank setup/assistance, but only if the enemy doesn't dodge a telegraphed skillshot. Meanwhile, Nasus gets a point and click slow that slows up to 90% (not to mention it is a cripple, not necessarily a slow, so it also slows attack speed). This means he has an easy way to escape ganks, where as Vlad/Veigar, if caught out in the middle of lane, often will still die. Nasus's W slowing MS and AS means he often will just not die.

Issue 3: His Q costs far too little mana. If he has to stack his Q, then he needs to have a mana cost to it. The fact his most essential ability is on a 8-4 second cooldown (no CDR, with 45% CDR it becomes 2.2 seconds. That is just insane.

Issue 4: His Q allows him to not build any form of damage. For a champion that deals so much damage, he literally needs to buy 0 damage items. Again, if all his damage comes from his Q, then there needs to be a cost to spamming it. The facf that he can spam his main ability that deals 500+ damage on a 2.2 second cooldown while being incredibly tanky while building 0 damage items is insane.

Issue 4: His passive makes his early game far too easy. Vladimir has a similar issue, but he needs 45% CDR to be a problem, and his W and E cost health, so he can still get low. Nasus does not. He can be pushed in and be fine. If he pushes, even if your jungler is there, he can just W and escape (or E. Dunno which ability is the cripple/slow). If you are not pushing, and he pushes you and your jungler is not there, he can heal up and you cannot engage on him. His life steal+fighting is his wave+his Q means he does more damage at most points of the game (pre-5 or 6 minutes he loses, but not many champions can 100-0 hi that quickly). It feels as if he starts with a free Vamp Scepter.

I feel as if this kit is just problematic. Is it OP? Depends. If your team can kill him early and push in, he has meh waveclear, so he should slow down in his stacking. But this is only really applicable GM/Challenger, and Pro. In Solo Queue, most of the time your team is not coordinated enough that they can take him down before he is a threat.

I feel as if he is one of the champions who has pretty outdated design, along with Volibear and Tryndamere. Veigar could definitely have a rework as well, though I think he's less of an issue, because he only gains 1 AP at a time (Nasus can easily get 20+ stacks from one wave), and Veigar still has to build damage. He takes a long time to stack, and remains squishy. Nasus does not have these issues, along with having excellent in lane sustain.

The cost for him spamming Q is being in melee range on a champion with no innate survivability. Get grievous wounds and watch Nasus not exist in team fights. Also try not standing next to the guy who does 1.5% of your max health per second in a 15 second AoE. Wither does make escaping a pain in the ass, but then your teammates can just shut him down for the 4 seconds hes basically forced to chase you down.

As for Veigar, item 3001 item 3110 item 3742 item 3512 is a terrifying force to deal with. Decent bit of HP and you die if you get in auto range of him, on top of him being fast as fu BOIIIII

You totally fail to mention how late game nasus sucks and is a big fat zero in teamfights. Biased much?

Any adc that is not trash can kite a nasus and nasus just dies without getting a single Q off.

When did I say he was OP or broken? I said he was problematic. It's probelmatic in design to have infinite stacking. In fact what you mention is part of the issue. If Nasus is going to scale as hard as he does, he either becomes entirely useless or takes over the teamfights. If he scaled so well he should have a monster late game, but he does not. I'd say that's problematic.

Even if he had an infinite number of stacks and one shotted people with his q. He's still pretty bad in teamfights. Also man I recommend looking up his wiki page and learning exactly what his abilities do before complaining about him. https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=pwc2016

**The ENTIRE STACKING MECHANIC on Nasus makes no thematic sense to his character. Period. **

You read his lore, he's an ancient scholar who became an Ascended being. He was not a fan of war, but he deemed it necessary in some cases and studied it. He always preferred knowledge and peace over wars.

So then, why is this game mechanic ENCOURAGING Nasus to murder the fuck out of everything that exists in order to become the most powerful bitch on the Rift? This mechanic clashes with is identity, his character, his lore.

I'd personally be down for the removal or rework of his stacking mechanic, with his Thematic Lore clashing his Gameplay Mechanics being one of the biggest reasons. As for the OP's reasons, I can understand how frustrating it is to deal with Nasus. I'm not agreeing on everything with the OP, but he has most of his points down on Nasus gameplay mechanics being somewhat problematic.

Issue 1: You're not suppose to push Nasus to the tower. That's the worst thing you can do. You want to freeze your lane so he pushes into you, leaving only able to farm in the wide open where he's begging to get ganked, or to far from his tower to have protection while also making it harder for the enemy jungler to babysit Nasus.

Issue 2: Nasus W is only a 90% slow at max rank, and is usually the last talent to have points added in. Even they max it second, he would still be well over level 6 already.

Issue 3: The mana cost is entirely fair. His entire early game is about getting those stacks, and if he can't stack at all, be t from an oppressive lane or having no mana, then he is 100% useless later on.

Issue 4: I can't even say anything about this. You're basically just complaining about how Nasus is intended to work. But again, followmy answer to issue 1 properly, then there's no issue 4.

Issue 5: This is the only real gray area you actually brought up. They did buff his lifesteal a little bit before they buffed his stacking. The only thing though is that his early game buff was very minor, and I'm surprised you're not whining about his late game lifesteal. I suppose they could revert the change, though that would only nerf his early game lifesteal from 12% to 10%, and any less would just kill any chance he has in actually staying in lane.
