Preseason Brought change, Not the change we wanted.
This preseason is a slap to the face. I want reasoning and explanations as to why Riot implemented these changes or even just what made them think these changes would help the game. The snowball that is provided by tower gold is insane. Laning phase is extended to 14 minutes but no longer than 14 minutes.Dark harvest is busted there is no balance in that.(idk how it even made it out of pbe) Damage is now even higher and the defensive stats in the game all took a nerf in comparison to damage.
There are a lot of things that need changed, imo I think that mobility, damage creep is so big in the last two seasons that any champ that doesn't have any sort of dash is useless in comparison to a champ that does. The emphasis on champions that can one shot is so high that champions that don't are just innately worse. While I understand there is an emphasis on champions that can "Outplay" the buffs to damage have made outplay=burst. I'm fine with a champion being able to kill the enemy laner as it is a part of the game but as damage has gone up skill required to do that is at an all time low. The simple fact that a champion that does more damage wins isn't how league should be.
I play this game collegiately and these changes have no rationale behind them that makes any sense. I urge anybody that thinks esports is a future for them to play another games.(more than happy to talk about what collegiate league is like and how the preseason affects us while still competing) As is league of legends is not a game worth putting time into till the game acquires any sort of balance. At this point I need the scholarship to continue towards my degree if I didn't id hang league up till I felt it was worth playing.
