Ww is legit so SO fun to play.
And the most awsome thing is you CAN actually fuck up his ultimate now. jumping next to the carry instead of suppresing it GOOD TIMES xd i'm already in love with him.

WW now has 50 passives, can avoid CC with his ultimate and follow blinks with his Q ... also damage reduction, mobility, hard CC and a vision passive. talk about riot not making shit overloaded.
where do you see 50 passives? i see 2 passives like the old warwick i see hard cc like the old warwick
the only thing that changed is that jhe can gank before level 6 with his new Q, and his old E was nerfed (less reliable) in favor of damage reduction which makes sens because warwick is melee
this
not forgetting that warwick no longer increases attack speed of allies, he lost many things but people will just come and tell "oh look certainlyt overloaded warwick" when the dude traded things for things
feel free to screenshoot this post, in a couple of weeks when you are complaining about warwick that builds like a "bruiser assassin" (something like triforce titanic into full tank) and 1 shoots you while ignoring cc having aoe hard cc and being overly tankish i will remind you of this.
idc about warwick balance, his numbers can all be tuned down
no mechanics are toxic on new warwick, he's even healthier than with his old E and old ulti he can't even oneshot unless he has 5 level ahead and overall new warwick is funnier to play than before which was right click to win
2 hard cc abilities one of which is aoe, 3 mobility abilities, damage reduction, sustain, % health damage, cc immunity, hybrid damage and extra vision seems easy to balance and not overloaded at all.
has 3 targeted damage ability, 2 AoE damage ability, 1 single-target damage ability, a damage reduction, thornmail passive, a cc that that can be either single target or AoE, a controllable pet that does AoE DoT, and a Sion passive.
Definitely not overloaded at all, just like

I think I can do a similar description to make look overpowered every single champion in the game. Let's try on Aatrox
has a dash that also works a freaking AOE knockup, has infinite free sustain that he can also swap for bonus damage, an AOE waveclear that is also a great poke tool while being also able to slow (?!!) and an AOE burst magic damage ultimate (cause you know, having only one kind of damage is not lul amirite) which also gives him a steroid of attack speed and attack range.
Not only that, but he's also manaless, and can revive after dying !
Definitely not overloaded !

My turn! My turn!

He gets a damage steroid that rewards him for building tanky, has an AoE really long ranged slow that deals a LOT of damage, a tank steroid that synergizes with his passive making him tankier AND increasing his damage, a source of sustain that allows to facetank minion waves and HEAL out of it, an AoE speed buff to his whole team (Sivir's ult on your E? Yes please!), and a huge AoE TAUNT that also deals damage by the end of it based on the damage he took.
Fucking overloaded as hell!
Is a resourceless champion WTF!?!?! Has 4 damaging abilities. 3 of them are AoE he has mixed damage AND ARMOR SHRED. his passive makes his abilities stronger and he can do it twice he literally has 2 karma ults on his passive wtf rito. His Q is AOE damage and a heal that would can;t dogde how is that fair. AND IT BUILDS HIS PASSIVE.
His W reset his auto and put on hit effects like 3 times. it also gives him a bunch of fervor stacks AND procs CotC instant WTF and it oneshots me. AND IT BUILDS HIS PASSIVE.
He get 2 skillshot dashes that do damage and shreds armor with his E AND IT BUILDS HIS PASSIVE.
His ult gives him a bunch of HP for free no cost resourceless WTF. it ALSO DOES MAGIC DAMAGE WHICH MEANS HE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ITEMIZE VS.
Renekton sure seems easy to balance and not overloaded at all.
Oh wait, he has been in a healthy state for like 4 fucking years with minimal balance changes. Looks like I just listed everything he does for no reason at all.
so that's 4 damage abilities, 1 cc ability, sustain, 1 mobility ability with up to 2 dashes, a health steroid with a sunfire passive and a option for armor pen which usually isn't used.
a pretty normal champion kit id say, what isn't normal is CC immunity, vision ability, damage reduction and % health damage with pretty much everything else that renekton has.
You left out the 2 karma ults, the AA reset that makes him take towers faster, and the fact that riot left animation cancelling in his kit which is toxic according to everyone who ever lost to a riven.
I also forgot to mention that his ult makes his passive stronger, and makes his AA range bigger and his Q area bigger.
So that is: (and I will be a bit favorable to you here) 4 damaging abilities. 3 AOE, 1 single target. 1 point and click stun. A heal. Free HP. Sunfire passive. Karma Ult in his passive. AA reset. Armor shred. a 900 range gapcloser. A range steroid.
Also, fun fact, his hitbox doesn't move with him until his E dash is complete, so have fun with your clarity fizz ult haters.
Fun Fact number 2:
A level 16 Renekton with CotC and
using a standard AD/Ar/MR/AD rune page will (assuming a 3 man CotC and a 3 man empowered Q heal) have ~12000 effective HP vs both damage types.
That is with 2 damage items.
the 900 range gapcloser is conditional just as a by the way, calling his passive a karma ult is hardly "fair" at all considering what it does, a auto attack reset is pretty much a part of every champions kit and also warwicks.
How is calling it a Karma ult not fair?
it empowers his next ability to give it increased / bonus effects.
well ya know how renekton Q gains 90 base damage and 0,4 ad ratio from his passive but karma gains 525 base and 0,9 ap ratio.
Karma Q gains 265 and 30% lol.
Renekton gains 50% of whatever the damage dealt is, and TRIPLES the healing cap.
You listed: Base damage of a rank 2 renekton Q. and the TOTAL damage of a Karma Ult Q.
Im not stupid.
yeah it sounds like you have never played karma or read her abilities.
I got my numbers directly from both the Wiki and the LoL champion info page.
Don't have to have ever played her to do that.
Aside from that, I have played both quite a bit.
seems like you completely forgot about the added second trigger of karmas Q though.
New Warwick is pretty strong compared to old Warwick, no doubt about that. But I think you're mistaking what overloaded means. Warwick is by no means overloaded, he kit is still very straight forward and can be easily balanced accordingly.
sustain, % health damage, hybrid damage and extra vision
Those things you listed were in the old Warwick's kit, minus the damage reduction/fear. Also, where does Warwick have CC immunity? You're standing on a sinking ship with your arguments.
his ultimate can now be used to dodge any form of CC and by dodge i mean get hit by it but have it not do anything. of course those things were part of the old warwicks kit but the old warwick didn't have 3 mobility abilities and all the other shit.
Old Warwick had 2 mobility abilities, and both of them more reliable than their current versions.
had a mobility passive and a lower range engage which also couldn't be used for escaping or just mobility*
If New Warwick was Old Warwick and vice versa, you would argue that an instant blink+suppression was overloaded. I think you are a person who hates any new changes that come to champion design. Change your name to Mean Table if you have nothing good to say. I'm looking through your past, and damn! I cannot find a single positive comment.
i don't see how anyone could argue that a straight forward ability with no gimmicks and only a single way of using it would be overloaded, i would probably say that a point and click dash/suppress is bad design but in no way would it be overloaded.
I do not understand. Dash = overloaded Blink = not overloaded is what you say.
across the map dash that can be used for mobility, dodging even targeted CC and chained with hard aoe CC is way more overloaded than a blink that can only be used on a enemy champions yes.
Warwick can be locked down immediately after the dash.
and that is relevant to his ultimate doing way more stuff now than before how?
His kit is definitely overloaded. By now, compared to the most overloaded and toxic champs, it's fine, but making him like this just keeps raising the bar. We need to stop making these flashy paragraph kits and bring down the creep
Triforce, lmfao. Yeah that won't be happening.
Why not? He has low cooldown Q that applies on-hit effects, and most likely can't afford to buy multiple offensive items.
triforce, lmfao. yeah that wont be happening :^) https://gyazo.com/fe3954220195d697fa10ec35c0171780 well we still have 3 weeks to confirm my second statement where everyone will be complaining about him being overloaded.
People are practicing a lot of different builds on him currently, wait 2 weeks and you'll probably see no more Tri's and just an IBG for damage. Also, his kit def isn't overloaded, his win rate is currently 47 percent in the jung and 43 percent top lane. Due to him losing his extra movement speed while in combat it's actually very easy to get away from him, he's got a built in mobi boots so kiting away from him is a breeze. Because of that MS his kit is pretty balanced, maybe even needing buffs.
when you see the same build in 80% of games from pro players its usually going to stick and it isn't just them testing different builds with majority of em being the same build. building triforce makes infinitely more sense on WW than iceborn but ya know.
also the low win ratio is actually a sign of a overloaded champion release, remember kalista, azir and yasuo? yeah the same thing happened. also overloaded =/= overpowered
There were plenty of times in the past a new champ came out or an older champ was reworked and the pros weren't spamming the most optimal build for awhile, 2-3 weeks and the most optimal build is always found. Sinickle, an actual high elo WW main with over 1m mastery points on him, feels IBG will be his core item because of the issue I brought up, losing his MS while in combat. He believes IBG with 40 percent CDR will make it impossible to get WW off you. Not one of these pros mained WW, and they often end up asking high elo mains how to build/play them, like when Moon (I think it was Moon) added and asked Dodge Lamb for tips on Kindred before he played her the next day in the LCS. Pros don't know all.
Huge difference, Those two champs actually have a high skill ceiling, WW doesn't. He was made to be much simpler, and Camille also doesn't have a high skill ceiling, so when she was released she had a pos 50 percent win rate on even a few games on her, which just got better over time. The fact that WW is so simple yet has a pretty poor win rate makes it clear he is not performing well.
being a old WW main gives you about as much insight on the new one as being any other fighter main. also the new WW has a higher skillcap than you would think, he has 2 ways of avoiding CC and the timing on his E is very important while he actually has a shitload of tools to do a lot of different things now.
Thats like saying Yi has a high skill cap because he can avoid cc with his Q. His skill ceiling is absolutely nothing compared to most champs, much like WW. I can't wait to rub some buffs or his win rate in your face in a week or two. I'll make sure to bookmark this thread. See ya then
im sure you will be as right as you were about trinity force never being built on him :^)
It has yet to be determined who's right on trinity, the optimal build isn't out yet. Two weeks from now when it's decided and the win rate averages out you'll see.
http://www.probuilds.net/champions/details/Warwick still seeing a lot of triforce :^) it did take longer than anticipated for him to start seeing play but that's only because riots balance team is so retarded. soon enough people will actually learn to play him though.
LOL, the triforces are rare as fuck on him according to probuilds. He hasn't really changed since he was released, so the balance team hasn't done much. He just isn't good, think Tarzaned put him in his B or A tier, which has around 9 other junglers higher than it. Really poor pick.
ye buddy 23% for a 4th-5th item is "rare as fuck", 57% win ratio after 10+ games played for pretty much every elo must be a really horrible pick.
WW has now been played twice in pro play, each time building IBG over Trinity. The plot thickens
in pro play everything that's melee is built tank, doesn't really mean anything though.
Still not 50 passives, or even 5. Also, name me a champion that you can't make sound overloaded by listing all of their capabilities.
Pantheon. This dude is caveman levels of complexity. Even has a spear. Pretty much any 2009 champion that hasn't been reworked yet.
Dude, the man has a spear AND A SHIELD.
