its usually my go to item but with it no longer giving crit for armor pen (something im not going to need until much later), should i even get it first? what item should i get instead? bortk? runnans?

I mostly see items with attackspeed as Twitch first buys. item 3153 which is only 200 more gold than the item 3142 for instance.

item 3153 25 AD 40% A.S. 10% lifesteal 6% max hp dmg An active that hits for 10% max hp and slows them

item 3142 65 AD 20 armor pen 10%CDR 40% A.S. and 20% M.S. for a few seconds every 45 seconds.

You'll trade harder with ghost but bork is more sustainability. I guess if you're winning lane and you have a support that can heal you or item 3097 go ghostblade. If you're losing, the bork may help keep you in lane.

I think it's only good if you go assassin Twitch, typically jungle with Warrior + Youmuu's + Duskblade. As ADC, I think the standard for hypercarries is BF > Zeal item > IE > BT/Mercurial

my typical build is item 3142 item 3085 item 3006 item 3031

then pick between item 3153 item 3072

then item 3139 and what ever else i need. i'm going to try bortk first into runnans and so forth, see how it works out

It's been the first item on him for both his most popular and highest winrate builds ever since its change. It doesn't matter that it doesn't give crit because on your first item you're just looking for raw AD to make each auto hurt in addition to amping your contaminate damage. You want crit afterwards to multiply that AD.

Plus nothing beats turning on that active and your ult at the same time, it makes Twitch's best moment in a fight that much better.

i had astroke and the left side of my body is paralyzed, s i can't use item actives. because of that, i go item 3153 for extra AS and DMG works perfectly! ;)
