Reminder that the problem with Dynamic Queue is not that you're getting matched with a pre-made.

Its that its gauging two entirely different things on the same scale.

Nobody ever complained about having to get matched with premades in normals. It was just about the premade trolls if anything, and honestly it doesn't matter how many trolls there are in a premade because one is enough to ruin a game. That includes solo players.

Again, the issue is not that you're getting grouped with a premade as a solo players.

Its that Dynamic Queue has ruined the integrity of ranked, especially for solo players.

You also forget that the reason people didn't complain about normals was well, they were just normal games...i have no normal game played after i hit lvl 30 simply because i didn't want to deal with premades that gank up on me.

The only real difference between normals and ranked is that you are publicly rated against other players.

Everything else IS exactly the same as normals, MMR included. Only difference is league/division, which is a made-up, but relative, indicator of your placement.

Legit right now a group of silvers i know is being carried by a ex plat who got demoted to gold, kinda hillarious to watch.

Oh really? Because I haven't played a single normal game in 3 years due to some of the astonishingly horrible premades I was forced to endure in normals that made me uninstall and quit league for weeks or months at a time on several different occasions.

Rarely had problems with premades in normals. Bad premades were REALLY bad, but they were very few and far in between, and definitely fewer games ruined than solo trolls.

Since when has Ranked ever been a REAL measure of skill? Ranked has always been more of a measure of time investment into the game. The person who grinds ranked day in and day out, and who has hours on end to play, no matter how much they suck, can eventually at least reach Silver with enough luck and at least a basic understanding of the game. A player who doesn't want to grind, and doesn't have hours on end to play, will stay in Bronze, when they could be better.

Really? Because I rarely invest more than 200 games over a whole year towards ranked and can always easily achieve gold, or right below to the point where, if I cared about hitting gold, I'd be there.

Luck has little to do with it if you belong anywhere gold or above.

Yeah, if I invested more time, I could probably hit plat or higher, but it is not just based on time investment.

Its because the people that care that much are usually improving, which means their grind is actually getting them somewhere.

Someone who's not learning is going to stay in bronze/silver. I've seen tons of people with 500+ games per season that can't climb.

Despite what you think, it HAS always been a real measure of skill. Its not the most accurate measure, but its a clear and valid indicator. Below gold its a bit more iffy because mistakes aren't punished as hard, and people make a lot more for you to punish as well, leading to very swingy outcomes that you might not be able to carry past. But again, if you belong gold or better, you will easily abuse people below you and climb extremely fast.

Played a normal game where the 3 man pre-made gave up a winnable game. You are taking that into ranked, if a pre made gives up it is gg, the exact same problem duo queue had. Duos were a liability in ranked, what makes you think a pre-made isn't.

I'm not saying I want Dynamic Queue without Solo Queue. I want solo more than anything. Hell, I haven't played the game in almost a month due to the state of balance and because I refuse to if Dynamic Queue is all they're going to have.

I just stated that there's now literally no difference between normals and ranked, which in itself, though I didn't mention it, is a bad thing. Ranked is supposed to be a different environment.

Just saw that vid where Sneaky is in a 5-man premade and takes on 5 solo players.
