@ Riot: It is normal to want to have champs that appeal to beginners, but...

... don't make specifically easy "beginner champs" that are super easy to play. As most champions have a minimum viability this will disort balance in higher levels of play as the "easy champs" have way less risk unleashing their full power as compared to other champions that have to work for that. Not to mention that "keeping things stupid enoug for noobs" is not exactly a good design philosophy, especially not for reworks.

Instead, make champions that are easy to understand.

I can give one good example here: a friend of mine started his league "career" with Syndra. Why? Because he has seen her being strong, she was on free rotation, and "hey in theory it is all super simple, even a child would get it. Make Ball, Throw Ball, Kick Ball, ALL THE BALLS. That's not so hard once you got that!". And so he practiced and practiced until he got the combos right.

This is a perfect example for a complex yet easy to understand champion. And to be honest I'd rather go up against a Syndra than against an Annie everyday, at least then the Syndra defeats me that was her showing skill, not using garbage "noob-proof" design to tilt the scale in their favor.

So when you work on Warwick, don't make him "the one for noobs". Just make sure he is easy to understand. That is more than enough...

I never thought easy champions should be weaker than hard to master champions. The only difference I feel should exist and in fact already does is that harder champions have more flexibility in their kits and therefore can adapt to a situation and are harder to predict.
