Why does Adaptive Helm still exist?

Does there really need to be an item that completely and utterly shits on sustained damage AP champions? Is being overshadowed by burst casters not enough?

It's the item 3143 of MR items, so why not.

item 3065 enhances healing, item 3001 enhances damage and is very good on tanks and item 3194 further reduces damage, so there you have 3 items serving 3 different purposes.

you do realize its one of the only good MR tank items in the game you got item 3065 and item 3194 and item 3001 doesn't work on every body not to mention late game you turn their MR = to an ADC with item 3020 item 3165 item 3135 but let remove it and make tanks even worse than they already are

Because Riot wanted an AP item that would let tanks survive DPS AP champions without completely negating burst AP damage.

Teemo Because people really, really, hate Teemo. No matter how weak he is in a meta, he is still hated. :p

Nah, in reality, that is probably a bit of the reason but honestly it is because it is all about Bursty-death and anything longer than few seconds to kill someone takes too much effort or skill.

I did not say he was weak currently. I said that it did not matter how weak he is. Also, it was a joke anyway. Thus the ":p"

But before the Runes Reforged, he had an abysmal winrate and was countered by a lot of top lane. The moment his winrate went up, he got directly nerfed.
