Twitch's ult should increase duration with points put into it

Vayne ult lasts 12s at max rank, and gains more AD than Twitch. Riven gets 15s, a short range increase, and a shit ton more AD. KogMaw gets his range increase and %dmg every 10~ seconds. Jinx gets her rocket range and bonus AD any time she wants! (provided she has mana)

I'm not saying these champs are op, I'm not discussing their balance at all. My point is that the fun to be had with these champs is had while these modes are active. Twitch gets a measly 5 seconds and it's not enough time to work with! The only thing Twitch gains from putting a point into his ult is the bonus AD increasing by 10. All these other champs get that extra damage, along with shorter cooldown, longer duration, or a range increase to boot!

The bottom line is: Spray and Pray's duration should either be reverted to 7 seconds at all ranks, or increase from 5/7/9 seconds based on rank.

5 seconds is enough to 100-0 their entire team.

It's also enough time that if you're forced to run for even half of that duration, it's practically wasted. For how rough his early game is compared to his lategame tradeoff, he shouldn't also have to have ideal circumstances to get the most out of his scaling.

His e is pretty strong and true dmg early.

The passive is completely negated by any form of sustain, including health potions. His E is only strong if you sit there letting him beat on you. Twitch has a very abysmal laning phase.

Maybe if you get the perfect lineup and go unthreatened the entire fight.

no. twitch ult has piercing. its stupidly strong in a team fight compared to vayne or kog who can only hit a single target. overall even tho his ult gives less AD it does MORE damage overall because its hitting multiple players on top of applying passive. it lasting 9 seconds would break him. a fed or farmed twitch is obnoxious to deal with as he just destroys an entire team with his ult.

Vayne and Kog are all single target damage which is partially why their steroids last so long. Riven is melee and a completely different type of champion so that's just oranges and apples. Jinx can use her AoE rockets indefinitely as long as she has mana but she sacrifices a lot of attack speed for it with a much smaller AoE.

Twitch on the other hand has the potential to completely 100-0 an entire team within the duration of his ult so making it last really long is a very bad idea considering how powerful the AoE is.

When Kog's W is down he's a useless lump of shit.

Twitch's stealth refreshes on Takedowns, allowing him to continue doing his stealthy ADC positioning so long as he doesn't get killed.

Every second duration the ult has gets more powerful later in the game relative to his items

Question tho. Was it necessary to reduce?

I think the goal was to transfer power to his stealth side. I really don't think he was in good enough a spot to sap power though rather than add it....

I think the difference is that Twitch gets two steroids which stack - his Q and his ultimate. Together they give him a window of power that is nearly unrivalled.
