Am I the only one who doesn't have a massive issue with autofill?

I mean you still get your preferred roles the vast majority of the time.

I mean look at it this way. It used to be pick order. The likelihood of you getting your preferred role as last pick was almost none unless you wanted support. You might not even get your preferred role if you were third pick. Hell, even being 2nd pick meant you might not get the primary role you wanted.

Personally I'm more than happy to occasionally have to autofill to get the roles I want 9 times out of 10. Sure beats the hell out of the old system anyway. Let's be honest, you got stuck as support waaaayyyyy more with pick order than you do due to autofill.

I can play all roles fine. Sometimes though, when you get a role that you're not good at then you get flammed...yeah

but you used to get the roles you were bad at even more frequently and were flamed just as much lol

Thank you!! All of you yapping about auto-fill needs to shut up. This game used to be pick-order, if you can't play all the roles, you don't belong in ranked, go do blind pick.

The chats pre-game have been explosive and aggressive. Just like in the past blind pick ranked. This is NOT enjoyable, and that's ignoring the fact that playing a roll you aren't familiar with is the opposite direction riot was heading.

pre game chat is much less toxic.

Do you not remember the days of "mid or feed"?

Think this has to do with people refusing to remember how much worse it was with pick order lol

Sure, Autofill isn't bad, but it does ruin some people's games. I am normally fine with it, but earlier I got pretty pissed off. Waiting in 10 min queue; 4 dodges; turns into 20 min queue. I queue Jungle Top and I get support. After 20 min. Other than that game (which I dodged cuz of toxic team mates in pre game chat) I don't mind Autofill. I used to main support anyways lol.

I don't really mind it all that much, but then again I main jungle. My worst role is ADC but I learned to play Lucian and Ezreal so it's not that bad. I think that people who dread getting autofilled are players who don't jungle because in my opinion it's the hardest role to fill if you don't have experience in it, and it can totally screw up a team composition if the jungler has no clue what he's doing. Also, playing ARAM for a while and getting familiar with many champions instead of being a tunnel vision stubborn one trick pony helps, both with playing with AND against those champions. Knowledge is power.

Just select "fill" as your role once. Then you get protection all day. It's not that bad people.

It only pisses off mains who usually stick to 2 champions. Or players who just started playing ranked (well no offence, you just have to grind IP from normal games and buy more champions to learn them).

The system should only match teams that both have the same number of autofilled players. Then if you're forced to play your worst role with shitty rune setup into a one-trick you can at least be guaranteed someone on the other team is dealing with the same issues.
