Attacking Without Leaving Your Spot

Azir will show this problem the most frequently. You are trying to fend off enemies, but you don't want to go too far out. Clicking on enemies to attack, your guy just suddenly decides to chase after them. I constantly find myself having to press the space bar (the button I picked to tell them to hold their position) over and over and over again. Is there anything that lets me attack from a certain spot without moving forward?

This would greatly help Azir as redirecting your troops attacks tend to have the same outcome. If the enemy moves out of range of the soldiers, Azir chases them.
