I haven't heard anything about a olaf rework, and there are a plethera of other champions scheduled before. I think he's in a good spot atm.
There should be a shyvana Olaf rework somewhere pretty soon
There should've been an Olaf and Shyvana rework after Darius/Garen/Morde/Skaner but they said nah, and went on to marksmen
I created a thread asking about thier plans for Olaf.
Meddler had replied that there are no current plans in the near future, that he is in a good spot atm. He also said that "he is suspicous that the juggernaut items are too stronv for him."
I hope this iant a hint at Olaf nerfs.
In my opionion, the preseason is works to help Olaf. I've found that I can carry hard if I play right, and if my early game is bad, I don't just totallt fall off and become useless. I build LS AD items, swifties, and dead man's normally, but will sacrifice an AD item for Spirit Visage for MR and extra healing.
Been doing doing pretty well as a Melee carry wirh Grasp of theUndying and stocking up on LS and one or two resistance/health item.
Although Trynd is bonkers right now, and fed adcs take NO DAMAGE from me even when I have almost 300AD and a total of 60% lifesteal when w is on. That's scary stuff. I sustain thier damage with w on, but thier warlords bloodlust allows them to take 0 damage. Its not alays like that; only if they are fed.
Havent tried out Feevor of Battle tho, that may also be nice---imagine buying early AS to amplify your AS passive than build damage... With that, Phantom Dancer may be good consideribg Olaf is slow moving..
PD, Rav. Hydra, Dead Mans, BT, BoRK(or Spirit Visage depending on situation) , Swifties. Seems like it could work.
Have not tried PD yet tho, as it is disabled.
