There are no champs that both scale well off gold and are primarily being run as supp, the lowest income role, that's just nonsense, and that's whats precisely happening to Malz. malz is a good support because his base damage is broken and he's hard to trade with. not to mention level 6 lockdown.

Theres a lot of champion agnostic support items that are useful like redemption, so almost anyone can support by just filling their inventory with 'support' items and more or less giving up their normal scalings for all the utility stuff.
That said, someone being played support doesn't mean they can't still go mid, and it's not like riot had anything to do with people taking malz sup.

Also,i'm having such easy games with Karma mid,i even bought redemption in a few of those and still dealt too much damage.
We won that vik supp game,btw,even 4v5.
Liofa1 votesExcept that's just false. When you put all of a mid laners damage into one ability, and that one ability can be killed off, you've just greatly reduced the effectiveness of said mid laner to operate as a carry.

The Malz rework make him even less healthy than the old Malz. There's a reason he had to be nerfed out of the mid/jungle meta.

So now he's become entirely what Riot accused him of being when they chose him for a rework, an ult bot. Is this irony? Feels like irony.
