how can you balance the game for plat and up
when your balance team is full of silver and gold players?
when your balance team is full of silver and gold players?
Being good at league of legends and knowing how to sort through statistical data about win percentages, item effectiveness on certain champions, why current meta champions are meta, and the like are two very different things.
if this were true riot wouldn't be questioned on every change they make by higher elo or regarded as incompetent as people like to say they are

spoken from people who don't know, or have the data in front of them, in order to analyze win rates.
Much less that simply playing the game masterfully, means that your an expert in it's design. (Your not) The people working on this spend their hours mastering game design, not mastering the game itself. And I would trust them (most of the time) that they know what the intended effect of a particular change is, even if I don't agree with the change.
? every major change they've made has required them to spend the next few patches fixing it after something ends up too strong or too weak
just look at the way jungle changes every season; they have to go back and forth playing whack a mole because someone ends up overpowered. look at keystones for the same effect; if they understood who or what would become a problem it wouldn't take months to see changes when a lot of players will say they'll be an issue as soon as they see it hit PBE
Counterpoint: the vast majority of the community said that plants would be an issue. This turned out to be false with the main issue being the jungle exp.
The community isn't the best to take away from.
plants got adjusted twice before they hit live
Adjusted but not removed as the community wanted. They didn't even make it so ranged didn't have an apparent advantage over melee with the blast cone.
i had said the samething a while ago. The response to me was as such your a noob silver you dont know how to play the game and yet you(the person i was talking to ) just becuase your in plat does not mean your good. the statistics they use are false readings... go to any stats professor in a college and they will tell you the exact samrthing becuase the sample size is in fact not accurate. The vast majority of players that play this game are of at least gold, gold being the mean and or average skill level and player base so why not take from that. In fact a more accurate would be to just take gold and plat player base to base your balancing around
i don't want better players to have to play worse
they should balance around the very best, gives me something to work toward
as i said ......if you are talkign about statistics why would you give yuorself a false sample size? thats like saying the teams in the afc and nfc nfl championships are the only nfl teams that win their games? does that statment sound correct to you? statistically you want to base your game around the
Once again... Knowledge of game balance and ability to put it in practice during matches are 2 different things.
How can you balance for plat when there was so much boosting not too long ago?
because boosteds like me are back in gold
complaining about balancing when you are a booster lmao wut
it is joke, I played solo last season
they have diamond 1 players in their team no joke
which just makes it worse because i can't understand how diamond 1 players would nerf darius ah yeah, i remember now, balancing around plat
