In promo series you always see this icon that says "you're guaranteed one of your selected roles during you're promos" but i thought i was already promised one of my selected roles during any given game?? Is this not the case?

It was supposed to be a diamond and up only thing.
In actuality every range is subject to autofill during non peak playing hours.
The most recent change is that autofill can no longer hit you in back to back games if you are in a promo series. It can still hit you the majority of the time... But just not back to back games.
