[Discussion] Do you hate Varus?

I hate all the potential Varus could have been, but Riot made him so basic and bland

No, he's one of the few ADCs that are fun to play with and against.

He feels sorta messy and helpless at times.

He feels really bad to play in terms of fluidity. I don't really know why. He's also quite weak.

Why would I hate someone who gives me free kills?

I loved him with the lethality build, I think this was is the build that fits his fantasy better.

It makes me sad people hate Varus? He is my favorite champ to play for sure. I think his kit is one of the funnest in the game to play,stacking and then popping blight usually feels very rewarding. I usually build AP and go mid, but his AD builds are still a lot of fun. Why do you seem to dislike Varus' kit so much? It's one of the few that feels both powerful and fair.
