I love Sona (obviously), but she doesn't need flat buffs. She could use a rework, but...
According to these statistics, in high elo she deals just about above average in damage, a good amount of healing, and she's just average everywhere else compared to other supports.
She has her counters, and she beats a lot of other supports (Alistar, Taric, Nunu, Lulu and Morgana apparently).
