I hope riot will do something for next season about this.

Depending on your elo you will always have the same champions that are played.

In silver-Gold on top :

Nasus, Illaoi, darius, shen, camille

jungle :

Warwick, Kayn, Kayn, Kayn and kayn..., Yi, xin, graves

Mid :

Yasuo, Zed, Leblanc, zoé, Talon

Some seasons ago the diversity of characters played was way more random than about being ''OP'' or comfortable Characters to play.

A good thing would be to restrict players to play a certain number of times with a character per week and it will improve their diversity of playing and they will have to main more characters.

So when someone runs out of plays on daruis they switch to nasus..and alot of one tricks will quit the game. Yeah... meta is meta in every game ..just the way it is.

Wasn't making it so you can only get chests on different champs suppose to help that? 140 champs, you can only get 52 chests a year. When you haven't got a chest to get? People just play their familiar.

No matter the amount of champions in the game, League has always been like this. I'm not saying its ok, its something Riot should work on changing and its something they said they're working on too (though jungle changes recently really seem to prove their statement wrong.)

Yes, there are seasons that were a bit more diverse but it's pretty much always been like 20-30ish champions that are "viable" (aka the best).

Though there are some major outliers like Ezreal and Janna who have been allowed to be very good for pretty much every meta season 2 onwards (Yes, they have had their "bad times" but nothing in comparison to other champions).
