Cinderhulk/Skirmisher meta possible fix

Create 1800 gold jungle items. Instead of starting machete, start from stalker's blade, trailblazer, poacher's knife, skirmisher's etc When you buy it from shop it will have a 5 minute cooldown on it. Just like when you buy a trinket it has a cooldown on it. You can change the jungle type at any time so long as you didn't complete the item but the cool down will reset when you change from say poacher's to skirmisher. I think this will be a better solution than having us have to pay if we chose the wrong jungle item. I'd rather pay with a 5 minute cooldown. (you can still smite of course its just the wont be enhanced) make them cost 400 gold.

Now you have a pretty cheap item for late game right. well solution is simple make it such that you can sell the jungle item for its full gold value such that you don't lose any gold to put towards your replacement item of choice.

Some small adjustments would be in order for all the jungle items to reflect their new price points. like 350 health cinderhulk with no 25% bonus health passive.

The main reason we have jungle items is to assist with the early game. and provide an affordable general purpose item to get you going. Once late game hits its usage/role window of efficacy has run out. For example you don't see junglers trying to poach enemy jungle at the 50 minute mark. At that point its mostly about team coordinations etc. Such that its no longer really needed. by then youll likely have another item to apply slow like you would for chilling smite. and youll have tankyness you'd otherwise get from skirmisher or the mana you have trailblazer for.

I like to think of jungle items as a bigger version of doran items of sorts.

How the jungle item gold bonus will work: While the stalker's blade/ or trailblazer or what have you portion of the jungle item is on cooldown: It will have machete’s passive: giving you •Passive Jungler - Deal 30 magic damage on hit to monsters over 2 seconds and gain 7 health and 3 mana per second while in combat with monsters.

When the stalker's blade/ or trailblazer or what have you portion of the jungle item's cool down is over its passive will be enhanced. Giving you: •Stats: +15 Gold on Large Monster Kill •UNIQUE JUNGLER: Deals 45 magic damage to monsters on hit over 2 seconds and gain 10 Health Regen and 5 Mana Regen per second in combat with monsters. •And whatever smite active you chose.

Since the cost will be reduced to an 1800 gold item I think it makes more sense that completing your jungle item will give you the remaining 15 gold you get from camps.

-What if I sell the jungle item then I won't get bonus gold from jungle camps? That's a decision youll have to make as to when you want to sell the jungle it. Hence why it will still be best to keep it and focus on building your other items until you have nothing left to build but switch out your jungle item for a better item.

Reasoning: jungling items are there to get you past the mid game. plus most games end before you'll ever have to trade in your jungle item. smite active gone though once you sell :( but you'll have a regular item that is equally as good once you sell/trade in your jungle item.

This will open jungle builds too as it can be somewhat limited. Since the jungle items while doing a good job of replacing their regular counterpart items, they don't quite have a jungle version for every item. and having duplicates of everything for jungling is well excessive.

conclusion: if theres no real incentive to keep the jungle item into late game Wouldn't you rather have a real summoner

how about you don't even try fixing things if you are just going to make the entire role weaker for no reason whatsoever

How will it make it weaker. The gold you save you can put towards your next item. You'll get your second item sooner. Two items that syngerize with each other gives you an even bigger damage spike. And it will even buff a jungler's late game, since they can sell the jungler item at no penalized cost to buy a full legendary item like any other carry would for said item slot.

Youd do more damage with say a less expensive warrior at 1750 gold plus sheen for 1200. At 2950 gold only 700 more gold than the current warrior. You,re much stronger. You have mana from sheen sooner which you might need especially early game.

You don't even have to upgrade machete into stalkers does it on its own.

This is a straight up buff.

made slight edits, any thoughts? I really think this would do the trick. Come mid to late game you could swap trailblzaer magus w/ morelloNomicon /or chilling smite magus with twin shadows. Or wota instead of skirmisher Devourer w/ wits end/zephyr/or botrk And cinderhulk with of course sunfirecap

Added the following image let me know what you think I really like the idea of using a gem instead of a fiendish codex in the case of magus. Makes sense since your socketing the gem after all

http://i.imgur.com/iMgquDg.jpg The cinderhulk's gem version could be 200 hp instead of 300, and the full cinderhulk could have like 250 hp and +20% health. Devourer could have 40% as with a cap at 50 stacks. Warrior might have 30 DMG.

In the picture the magus enchantment could build out of a tome for 435+ like 265 for a 700 gold gem. Instead of the 800 I put. It would have 25 ap unlike fiendish codex which has 30.
