Do people actually take ranked seriously? Because it seems like they don't.

Because to me if you aren't going to play the game or attempt to help your team in ranked you basically might as well get instantly reported for non participation. Literally just had a game where my jungler refused to gank mid lane. The point of ranked is teamwork. If you don't act as a team then you shouldn't be in it. Teamwork could be team fights, ganks, communicated and purposeful split pushing, peeling, etc. Yes I include split pushing in teamwork. But the second you refuse to cooperate with your team it should be reportable.

Just had a game with a terrible jungle. He fap'd in the jungle as heavy gank champ when I am mid lane saying "Hey keeps spamming shadow in lane its free kills" and then gets butt hurt when I go "Yo WTF I'm sitting under tower all game and he's still pushed and you are doing raptors". Response from "Why the fuck would I come mid. you won't stop talking". Me: "You plan on participating???". I mean it was bad. He didn't even walk near the lane or try. He literally just rotated behind tower so there wasn't even pressure applied at any point. And team thinks I am garbage because I flashed to try to steal baron and died and our jungler managed to get the smite off to kill it because I landed a 3 man stun and dropped a combo. Immediately entire team "GJ Veigar nice steal" with obvious sarcasm because of how much they had focused on me being the bad guy not the jungle because they had taken a dragon and smited baron.

I don't know about you, but if you aren't going to take hand out kills and are going to tilt super hard just because someone asked for you to come to their lane for a very justified reason you shouldn't be playing ranked, period. I understand that it's not acceptable to be toxic. I understand that people are stupid. But I don't understand how people want to move up yet they can't figure out that teamwork is one of the biggest factors in this game. And I don't understand how "flaming", in my case trying to get the jungle to cooperate, is worse than someone refusing to cooperate as I find that more toxic as it actually hurts game play directly.
