DQ is kinda screaming "WE NEED VOICE CHAT"

Dynamic queue is great for simplifying the ladder and adding more reward for teamplayers (with the small exception that now some groups of IRL friends can't team up together anymore as in old Ranked Teams), but it has BOOTTLOADS of issues. Mainly that whenever matchmaking screws up, you find yourself with a side with much more coordination compared to the other. So to solve this, we need a team of 5 solos to be able to communicate as well as a 5 man premade. We need voice chat for everyone.

I can honestly say I would mute voice chat every game. People can't control themselves while typing, why would I want to listen to the screaming babies?

That's why I feel like any kind of VoiP should be an Opt in format. And honestly, Riot doesn't even need to implement that themselves. They could easily piggy back on Curse voice or skype. The problem with that is, people who are going to use the VoiP, are not likely going to use the Text chat, so implementing such a system would create even further disconnect for the players.

I use Skype with my duo every game, but still use game chat for the other players. Your point is valid though, we get trios a lot that never communicate in chat and it makes it extremely difficult to win. I'm partly afraid of them adding voice chat because it will somehow add 30 new bugs to Azir.

if you have rcurse voice and everyone your witrh does you can legit send the link. last i heard of voice chat it raiised toxicity by a ton but then again that was before dynamic queue was made so it may be more useful now. I'm unsure if this will be good or not. Haha you also never fight a 5 man as a 5 solo buddy.

I don't know if you've seen this.

But if you're asking for voice chat in a game like this, you should.

Communication would likely drop in many situations with voice chat.

You've seen those 4 man premades? How often do they ping? Almost never, because they just say what they're thinking.

Now imagine that you've got one guy with a crying baby in the background, one guy who keeps shouting or blaring his music over the voice chat, and one guy who's toxic. You've got to mute them to keep your sanity, but they're not pinging. For kicks and giggles, the fourth guy doesn't even have a mic. Congrats, you're more isolated than before.

Now, one suggestion I saw was to ensure that the premades are on a level playing field by giving them voice chat. A premade without voice chat going against a premade with voice chat is going to be at a disadvantage, pulling down the rest of their team accordingly. Presumably premade groups are willing to tolerate the above flaws with their teammates, so it levels the playing field with the premades without them having to search for a 3rd party solution and trade the information for it.

Nope, we don't need a voice chat.

Premades and people who want to talk to random people are already using 3rd party programs.

We need a separate ladder for solo players and premades. Adding another VOIP doesn't solve anything. You can't fix a system that is fundamentally and inherently broken.
