Tips and picks for countering Vladimir Top?

This is more for counters than it is for tips as I already to know to hide behind minions and keep my distance so I don't get targeted with his q. However, his early wave clear is enough to push me under tower, and make it so that if I try to step forward to cs he can safely just keep poking away at me, and the damage from his e is just overwhelmingly strong.

I know Swain eats him for breakfast but he gets banned every game now, I thought about Rumble since he can stay behind minions and poke back with his e, but I'm not very good with him and don't want to risk feeding. Basically I need some surefire recommendations that'll give me a strong fighting chance against Vlad as the amount of damage he puts out is too much to handle without a means of fighting back and not getting destroyed by minion aggro.

Anyone who can gap close on Vlad fast and deal high damage early. Riven, Darius, Renekton, Trundle, and the like.

Build executioner's and say bye to the heals.

Or take someone who can shove laner harder so he has to use his E to clear waves and gets lower hp than norm. Darius, Illaoi, Graves, etc.

literally just fight him

hes super weak early and cant really do much except pool and give away 20% of his current hp

Anything that can fair well with early mr, and good early all ins help aswell. Vlad is all magic damage and hardly will get magicpen early on, most of the time he won't get a voidstaff at all. Riven with hextrinker rush should do fairly well, irelia with wit's end rush works, though you have to play really save till you get it, Fizz with wit's works well, especially because he can easily take ignite. Rumble should certainly work, as he can push the waves in faster than anyone and probably has enough dps to burn him down. Trundle should work aswell. Kayle should be able to bully him with her far superior dps, and post 6 you can deny the damage of his crimson rush with your ult in an all-in. Beeing able to hold your distance while farming helps alot aswell. Darius with ghost usually works well, get pushed in a bit till you hit 3, and as soon as he goes for a Q on you you can hook him, pop ghost and just all-in.
