When mid demands blue buff.

Several things happen:

I tell them to manage their mana better instead of wasting their abilities on cs.

I tell them to take the rejuvenation mastery instead of executioner as executioner is better on assassins and rejuvenation literally regenerates 3% of your missing mana.

Help me take that fucking ocean drake instead of bitching all day.

Build morellonomicon, or Rod of Ages, both of which grant you plenty of mana.

Play a champion with a resource recovery passive: Malzahar E, Swain passive, Kassadin W, Xerath passive, Twisted Fate's W (Blue Card).

Grab another doran's ring.

I don't owe you shit, I'm not obligated to give you shit, nor will I give anything unless you have expressly shown that you are capable of winning your lane, and if you come in and try to take it without my permission you better be ready to have the IRS come knocking on your door, because that lane is going to get taxed until I've made up for the lost XP you just stole from me.

Blue buff is a privilege, and I _will _ make you earn it, because while I'm playing that Udyr who has to chain-stance (mana consumption) non-stop in order to maintain my movement speed (that's faster ganks for you nincompoops and lane-feeders), or that Maokai with the insane mana costs, or the Amumu who nearly runs bone dry three levels in, the last thing I'm going to do is hand over MY resources to someone who isn't even capable of handling their own for that would be the equivalent of hiring an accountant to handle my finances who flunked math class.

TL;DR You want the Blue? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE BLUE!

When jungle demands blue buff

Several things happen:

I tell them to manage their mana better, hit scuttle, and smite blue.

I tell them to take the rejuvenation mastery instead of executioner as executioner is better on assassins and rejuvenation literally regenerates 3% of your missing mana, especially if they're an Amumu who nearly runs bone dry three levels in, or that Maokai with insane mana costs, or if they're playing that Udyr who has to chain-stance (mana consumption) non-stop in order to maintain their movement speed.

Take that fucking ocean drake instead of bitching in the jungle all game.

Build Rod of Ages, giving you plenty of mana and tank stats.

Play a champion with a resource recovery passive: Chogath

Grab a hunters talisman,

It's simple really. If my mid laner is more ahead than I am, either in KDA/farm/towers/all of the above, I'll give them blue. If I'm ahead in those things, then I'll take blue. Late game (e.g. post-25 minutes) I'll give every buff to the laners. By that point, the extra AP blue buff grants will be much more useful on the mid laner, even if they were behind earlier. Similarly, I'll always give the ADC red buff (unless they're ridiculously behind) so they can kite easier, stay alive longer, and pump out more DPS.

i play both jungers and mid.. and the OP is totally wrong.. you need to know when to give your mid blue and when not to.. but you dont NEVER give ti to them..

As a mid laner main, I like when the jungler gives me blue, but when I play jg I tend to keep it for myself except if my mid laner is crushing his lane. I can understand why you're not giving it, sometimes I ask for the third blue. I think you sound really agressive tho, maybe thats why they wished you luck to climb, attitude helps.

So I main top and jungle, and the OP is basically right.

If you can't rely on your mid laner, don't give them blue.
