Can we get a notification of what role we're going to play?

or at least change fill to support in low elo?

How about instead of just choosing 2 roles, you rank your roles 1-5. That way you can put support as number 3 and not ALWAYS have to get it.

In my case, it would be top #1, mid #2, support #3, jg #4, adc #5...this way you would, ideally, get a more balanced result as to which role you would get in lane. Wouldnt have to be "Oh, you put support as your secondary? Your going to get it 100% of the time." and then being forced not to put support at all because you are sick of playing it 20 games in a row.

Pretty much this or something very much like this needs to be done. Because allowing players to completely ditch playing certain roles just because those roles are unpopular is the reason players find it difficult to get their primary roles in the New Champion Select.
