Jhin is meant to be immune to AS slows

Because he has no scaling AS to build. On top of this he is meant to be a damage champ, and often you actually lose DPS by converting pure AS into damage. 2.5% damage for what is normally a 10% increase. But he gets to scale on his abilities with it. So actually, he is eating almost a flat up debuff to get extra damage off crit chance which even then causes him to crit for lower than normal damage. So you want to complain about someone getting a buff to make up for the fact that they scale lower than most ADCs on the things that have infinite use while having higher scaling on things that have limited use (abilities).

The solution to Jhin is not an AS slow. It is armor and hp. He does abysmal against tanks until extreme late game. Building an AS (that actually works against Jhin) is like building a Spirit Visage to counter Vayne. Sure you do get some benefit out of it, but it has wasted gold and and there are better items for the job.

Edit: I just realized that if you think about what summoner 3 would do to his damage, this would be a very bad thing to add to his kit. It would take away his AD and reduce his damage therefore super gimping his damage on both AAs and abilities.

then he should also be immune to as buffs.

He is getting less benefit than normal from AS therefore, he doesn't have a downside to having an AS debuff. Is it that hard to understand. I even broke it down for you.

its not wood 5 logic. its simply logic. if he doesnt get his ad reduced from as debuffs like wither, then he should also not get his ad increased from as buffs like nunus w and other sources.

you cant have one without the other. that doesnt make sense.

It does. It's like how Yasuo get's double his crit chance for 25% less crit damage. Jhin doesn't get AS so he gets a little AD and immunity to AS slows. Jhin sacrifices much more to get about equal to Yasuo as well as gives up 100% uptime and mobility for damage. It wouldn't make sense to have a immobile ADC, squishy, and no real CC ADC do less damage than Lucian.

no it doesnt dude.

attack speed is a damage multiplier for jhinn as for every other ad carry. just instead of attacking more often, he attacks harder. it still amplifies his auto attacks the same way as other ad carries.

his actual passive is that he gains spell damage aswell as auto attack damage from building like an adc.

and if he benefits from bonus as from outside sources he should get his ad reduced from attack speed slows aswell.

Do you not understand math? 10% more AS = 10% more attacks per second which means in an AA fight 10% more DPS. 2.5% more AD means 2.5% more DPS. And there are very few outside sources of AS buffs. Nunu, Warwick, Nidalee (why does she still have one in her kit is the bigger question). And those are the few that I can think of right now. Oh and Ezreal.

They are working on attack speed debuffs lowering his AD.

he should still be punished in a way by attack speed sub-tractors since he gains AD from attack speed.

I am not promising it will be fixed by 6.3 but I can say that it is a bug and I apologize

Why aren't you making this post in the actual thread about it where a red is actively posting?

Because everyone rages in whine threads and down votes people even when they are wrong if you write a long response that isn't the OP people tend to not read it.

it would do the same as on other adc. neuter his dps for the duration.

It would work as about a ~50% damage debuff against Jhin. Because it would drop his AD for his abilities on top of the 40% reduced damage. Do you even think or do you rage down vote because people have ideas that are probably more correct than yours?

I swear on these forums half the people here are the Wood 5 crusaders just wanting to gut everything without weighing the effects on the game.

This isn't like the Tryndamere weakness to ignite. This is a summoner spell gaining bonus effects because you think that him already getting lower DPS isn't enough when there are very few things that can actually buff his AS other than items.

theyre fixing the issue. the discussion is over. youre barking up the wrong tree aswell. i disagree with your opinion, but in the end im not the one who makes the decision.

all i can say is that i agree with riot having him affect by as slows as hes affected by outside as buffs.

You do realize that he has a very low win rate even with his build already made. His kit just isn't in that great a spot. If Riot goes through with this they can put Jhin in the garbage and make him the first new champ to get a rework in the first few months of release.

if his win rate drops significantly then theyre buffing him somewhere else. this is still a problem in the design of the champion that has to be fixed.
