I quit playing about 2 months ago but I've been reading the patches notes today.

Give it to me straight, are malz and zyra mid actually viable now?

I played vel, malz, zyra as my 3 main mid champs for years (before this season killed them)

they are changing up a bunch of ap champs and items, so we will have to see when the patch comes out.

Not for another couple weeks at least. 6.9 is when the MYMU goes live.

Malzahar was never out of the viability lol, but yes, both are getting quality of life adjustments that each are doing well with

Nobody knows. You can ask people on the PBE but that honestly isn't a great place to judge a champ's power.
