Revitalize - Heals and Shields are 5% stronger and increased by an additional 10% on targets below 40% health
I was real scared that Windspeaker's was going to go away forever, especially considering the current meta.
Kudos for designing a better version with new runes, Riot. This is another perfect example of your design team coming up with something way better than I saw any players suggesting.

It gives a lot of power for champs that can take advantage of it, and you still get a keystone on top of that. Just my opinion, but I actually think that's even better than Windspeaker's.
Fairyfleur1 votesFor old windspeaker's users that can't use Aerie very well are going to get hit pretty hard. Janna and Soraka come to mind. If they can't take advantage of the damage counterpart they're just missing out on its potential.
ModKnightsKemplar1 votes?? Aerie doesn't have much to do with revitalize in that way. If they can't proc Aerie, they don't have to take it. Revitalize is plenty good without it.
I would also argue that until we know what the numbers are on Aerie (or the cooldown for it, if there is one), it's kind of hard to argue how much that affects it. All the numbers are subject to change, anyway.
Furthermore, Janna is getting changes to make her more aggressive. Soraka should also have to hit Q's to be effective. I mean, it's a valid concern to bring up, but there's plenty of counterpoint to it. I think we'll have to wait and see to be sure what the overall effect is.

But, and this is gonna sound weird, Domination is pretty good for supports.
You grab Electrocute (we're not sure what the scaling is on that damage yet), and the rest of the runes are pretty good.
First tree, you can get poro or zombie ward (GREAT for supports).
Second tree, you grab cheap shot.
Third tree, you can get reduced item actives: again, pretty good for support. Relentless hunter isn't bad for the ward game, either.
