Annie isn't strong.Karma is viable and on good point.But she isn't strong.3 or 4 mages are strong but 10 Adc's are strong.Still adc meta so we need ad item nerf.

or they nerfed ap items so ap champions was nerfed.That argument is valid all ap champions.Example is Cassio.DPS mage but Cassio isn't strong like adc's.Moreover Cass late game monster but Adc's are op now.

Their target was other ad champions. (except Lucian) They wanted Jinx, Mf, Ashe, Cait for competitive.
They succeeded but they didn't predict.We are ad meta again.
Edit:Even Cass can not carry like adc's.Cass is the most similar champion adc's.Because Cass DPS like adcs.

What actually got buffed? The LW items, and IE. WHY? Wasn't Tank shredding items good? well yes BUT, you couldn't actually get them. Cause itemizing against the tank, meant not getting the really powerful DPS items, which means you would not out duel your opposite number, and your team fight would suffer.
Should ADC give something up, so they can actually get the items needed to shred tanks? Well probably, but Riot probably though that the ADC needed some dispensation, mainly because the ADC is really the only one who can itemize against the tank.

One of the problems with buffing Void staff is that it acts on total MR rather than bonus. Which still makes it useful against everyone. You could do the same thing and tailor it against tanks, but likely it would leave it in a weaker state.
Also, You really need DPS to deal with the tank. Even if you could shed their MR, they have too much HP. The only HP shred item for AP is Liandry's, and that really only synergizes with DoT, and Machine gun mages. And those are really all that would actually be effective at shredding tanks.

I repeat their target wasn't tanks.They targeted ad champions for pro scene and they wouldn't like to see Lucian every match.Ad item buffs were extreme so ap item nerfs are necessary.
Lord Dom. and Mortal Re. buffs were sensible but IE and Essence buffs were completely unnecessary. (according to your tank argument)

So I partially agree your opinion but 4 adc items buff is extreme.
