Gotta hand it to certainlyT

Graves is just another champion in a long line of overpowered monstrosities released by him. He literally has yet to release a champion that wasn't completely bonkers on release. At the very least the dude is consistent.

A CertainlyT hate post? I haven't seen one of your kind in AGES!

Reminder that CT has no say on numbers, only design Blame the balance team

His design isn't much better....he constantly makes champions that are fun to play as but absolutely horrible to face. Furthermore he generally overloads the champion with way too much in their kit to the point where they are either always good (thresh has never been weak in his entire existence because his kit has so much), or they are oppressive when even slightly strong (yasuo). And the inherent strengths of his champions pretty much invalidate entire classes of champions due to their kits.

Every melee champion pretty much auto loses to darius (talking about darius on release, not the current remade one), kalista invalidates melee champions without multiple gap closers, Thresh is the lee sin of supports, Yasuo screws over any skillshot reliant champion.

And then you remember that CertainlyT worked on Caitlyn. And, she's currently at the second lowest ADC winrate, beating Urgot. I don't think anyone would consider Caitlyn's changes anywhere close to buffs. More of a gutting.

Certainly2 is doing what any good businessman would do. He makes a product that's appealing to the consumer so people will buy it (and it's skins). People see that Graves is strong, and all of a sudden Riot sells 10000 (just a random number here) Graves skins. From a balance perspective he's probably a bit broken, but from a business standpoint this was a smart move by Riot.
