making stacking mean something for rageblade
So i want to make the stacking on rageblade something other than what it is right now right now. A lot of it centers around just refreshing it by activating a spell before the 8 second cool down runs out. I think it takes away from the item's identity a lot. Its hardly a ramp up item per se since you can keep them up relatively easily. You'll rarely engage with say less than 4 stacks if you at all tried to keep it refreshed.
I was thinking: there could be 2 stack counters, one for minions and one for champs stacking the one for champs also stacks/refreshes the one for minions however stacking the one for minions does not stack the one for champs
You would only receive stacks upon dealing damage to champions, instead of for just pressing a spell.
Auto attacks would still get 1 stack per auto. I was thinking it could get like 5% AS up to 6 stacks however so you can better rely on AA to reach max stacks. and like 4 AP x 8 stacks.
If its a spell: each time a different spell is used and ddamages a champion/s only gain 1 stack. Say its kayle E. first use of E gives 1 stack. however dealing more damage with the same spell before it goes on cooldown will only give 1 stack if it deals damage after a 1.5 or 2 seconds cooldown. don't get extra stacks for aoe/ per champion hit.
This way its more about ramping up. it would get a bit buffed elsewhere to keep it from getting nerfed by this. but at least it will retain its identity of actually having to ramp up its stacks as opposed to it just feeling tacked on.
the cooldown vs champs could also be 10 seconds too since switching to minions will not keep it up.
