As a support main, these threads really grind my gears. I don't know where these massive swathes of asshole carries are suppose to be, but across 6 years of support I only occasionally run into a carry whose even a tenth of the assholes these threads make them out to be. Do I get asshole carries? Sure, but then again, there are assholes from all sorts of lanes. But overall I can't help but think that threads like these not only serve to push prospective new players from the role, but typecast us as whiny children or constant victims. Neither are attractive, and both ignore the actual reason that supports play and enjoy their damn role.

As a toplane main, I see them every game. You must be desensitized.

I lane with them, you deal with the aftermath of them. Not to be rude, but I know my carries. I'm not desensitized, I'm competent at my role.

I agree. Any posts that are just general complaints, especially ones about other players, shouldn't get upvoted unless they are constructive. Riot can't do anything about how players behave in game, except ban toxic ones and trolls.

If they are actual complaints about the game, they should at least give an example of how to fix it.

if I don't attack them my ADC will die and flame me if I do attack them and by mistake get the kill my adc will flame me can't win

Best yet is playing support Brand, walking into a hook to save your low health ADC, popping ult EW before dying which gets them to like 150 hp, ADC goes in with Shiv and hits both of them but leaves them with like 5 hp, Brand Double kill. "BRAND. STOP KSING." I'm fucking dead. Seriously?

Alternatively, Support auto attacks enemy with no summoners up who is at 50 hp while he and his adc are nowhere near dead

To be honest, if I was laning with brand support or any mage really, I'd want them to ks me all the time lol.

I don't remember the last time an ADC got mad about me taking kills. I just fight. If I get the kill then so be it. If they get the kill, good for them. If the jungler comes and uses blue smite over the wall, cool. Kill secure means free farm for the ADC, no farm for the enemy, towers for my team, dragons for my team, stolen enemy buffs, etc. If you can take a kill then do it. People are bad if they complain about not getting a kill.
