that way he has to build more crit to reach 100% crit, and therefore more squishy to become more balanced. also his q shouldn't critically strike.

If this were the case, he would not build crit at all. He would go back to being a cancerous bruiser. Additionally, he already pays for crit chance with reduced crit damage.
