Jungle Champions vs nonjunglers.

The jungle has been changing these last two preseasons, with this new highly dominant junglers, capable of outjungling and outganking other junglers. These are then nerfed. And nerfed. And in the case of Kha'six nerfed once more.

Never is anything buffed.

What this eventually means, and we're starting to feel it, is that jungle champs are very simply subpar champions. not stronger than other champions, even if relatively more fed. Lee Sin is a good example of this; Either you're snowballing to huge leads or you're technically behind. Kha'six and pantheon are the same. Elise is really useless because of the way they reworked her damages. fine in the jungle but cant do anything versus other champs.

Pls rito focus on buffing things that need buffs, rather than continuosly nerfing the jungle champ pool so we end up in a situation where junglers cant have high game impact because them getting fed means nothing. This means in solo queue that either you're fortunate enough that your laners could use the leads you give them, or they weren't and you're screwed.

Not saying this is a huge problem yet, but it just seems to be ritos direction.

The jungle was reworked to be harder, very likely, because the jungle in professional play was essentially a playground. Junglers could just roam through the jungle on fairly predetermined routes, and gank pretty much whenever they wanted, with pretty much ANY jungler (ever see one of those "A-Z Jungle" streams?).

With that jungle, champions like WW were outclassed/outshined because other champions that do more than just "survive" the jungle existed. WW was basically a sustain/ult champion, sustaining the jungle and ult'ing for ganks. Champions (I'll use another less than popular one on the professional scene) like Sejuani had more CC in their kit than just her ult, so she could farm how she wanted and gank when it was needed, even if her ult was on CD.

Now that the jungle is harder, and you need some serious mitigation/sustain to stay healthy in the jungle, these champions are coming to the fore (like WW), meaning that the roles have literally reversed. WW can stay healthy and, thus, gank pretty much whenever he wants when his ult is up, whereas Sejuani gets knocked around too hard to gank whenever she wants because her mitigation is shit, and she has no sustain.

With that, all the other jungle champions were "in a good place" overall prior to the jungle changes, which means these ones that are "OP" now, need to be nerfed into line with them in the new jungle.

Personally, I think it's kinda stupid, but there's nothing that I can do about it so... wut do?

But the point is that if they keep doing that, eventually the pool of jungle champions cannot go up against laning champions. it's not like they're going to rebuff junglers that were hurt by the jungle changes, and have been nerfed previously. just gonna nerf some more champions

Well, if you want my personal opinion on the matter, I think the idea of jungle items/jungle champions is stupid... Riot should never have endorsed the meta like that.

The creation of Jungle items was heavily abused because they were too efficient, so laners purchased them, then they were made more accurate for junglers, and less efficient for laners...

Well, now we have laners going with smite and taking the jungle items that allow them to smite champions. We have champions that don't work in lane, so instead of being balanced to make laning better, we have this almighty meta that Riot has endorsed and we just throw them in the jungle. We have champions that come out specifically for the jungle, and balance issues inevitably arise because of THAT.

The entire "jungler's are blah blah whatever" can be solved by ignoring the "meta", and balancing champions around OTHER CHAMPIONS, and not where they belong on the map.

To be completely honest I feel you are really overreacting... a lot. I've played many games since the patch and ever since there are very few times where I can legitimately say that junglers didnt play a quintessential role in the victory for their team or a loss for the other. Junglers can affect so much now in so many ways because the jungle itself has been redesigned, and with that more champions you are comfortable with can do so. Yes the typical and very popular champions of old for jungle had been nerfed repeatedly and are not as dominant as they once were. Quite frankly some can't even stay in jungle for long without recalling earlier.

However this isn't a bad thing and slight buffs to things such as base HP may be done. But I do like the new jungle overall, I think it allows more champs to be tested and tried in the jungle. I wouldn't go as far as saying there is a vast increase in the number of "God" tier junglers moreso a swap and addition of two or three, but there are definitely way more strong viable junglers for those players who are very experienced with these champions. Personally I used to play a lot of Diana jungle before the patch and she was really fun and decently viable. Now with the new jungle she can fair much better, because I don't have to focus on out ganking my opponent as much.

Thats what the old jungle all ever came down to, who were the most mobile, bursty champs that could pump out ganks while visiting the jungle here and there with some decent sustain. It was merely a kill role, exclusive to the best early game jungle killers. Now everyone is on a more even keel playing field and no those champions of old dont fall off extremely harder. Lee sins are still strong, Rengar is still strong, Kha' Zix may need some love for the new jungle regarding his health or sustain (not damage) but for the most part you can jungle with a lot of your favorite champs who were either "ok" or not really viable in jungle before. Thats better than fed Kha zix and Lee sin every game, if you were the type to get fed of course.
