To what extent is the soul grabbed by Illaoi a "champion"?

Basically her test of spirit creates a sixth champion on the enemy team that does nothing and transmits damage to its owner, but to what extent can it be targeted? I know a Blitzcrank can grab it, but can it be knocked up? Furthermore, can a knocked up soul be ulted by Yasou? If an AOE effect goes off (lets say, a Ziggs ult) and both the soul and the soul's owner are caught in the blast, will the owner take extra damage because his body was damaged AND his soul was damaged? Can souls be ignited or smited? Can Vayne's silver tipped bolts proc on souls? Do on hit effects apply to the souls owner (for example, MR reduction on hit with wit's end and AR shred with Black Cleaver)? Can Darius bleed souls?

I have so many questions, please help me

If Illaoi grabs the soul of a soul, is a soul ripped out or is a champion ripped out of the soul? Or is a purple caster minion ripped out instead? Why do minions not have souls? If Tahm Kench eats the soul, does he eat it as a minion or champion? If Kalista ults said Tahm Kench While he has the soul of a champion in his belly and moves him away, does the soul distance break and proc the debuff? Is this before or while it is in his belly? What does a soul taste like? Do gingers even have souls? If Illaoi pulls karthus's soul out, should he be able to do damage back?

Oddly it's considered a minion for the purpose of item 3302 's line of items but it's somehow also considered a champion for the purpose of item 3303 's line of items.

Yeah, we're a bit inconsistent at present when it comes to champion clones, ghosts, copies etc, with both some champion only and some minion only effects affecting them. We're going to work on cleaning that up, starting with adjustments to Targon's in the next patch, with the long term goal being to make clones etc function just like champions.

It's interesting how a release of a new champion can effect so many including clones, ghost, etc.. and how League has to clean up spills that the new champ made for future events.

I do agree clones needed to be treated as champions because... well, they are clones (... to which are genetically identical) damaging one clone shouldn't effect the other.

In the case of Illaoi if a clones spirit is pulled, dmg should effect the clone only. (like Leblanc or Shaco ) Unless its just an illusion MonkeyKing BUT wait a second, can you touch an illusion? can you even damage it?
League is so confusing.

then you have Ghost like Mordekaiser and Yorick ult.... do they have spirits to be pulled?

The reason why the spirit transfer some of its hurt to its body is to give Illaoi a way to punish enemies at longer range. Basically if she is skillful enough to land her E, she is allowed to damage her enemy that would otherwise safely run out of her danger zone.
Yes, you can damage an illusion, but given its short livespan it's pretty pointless.

Would that mean that characters with spells that reset on champion kill would reset on killing a clone?

I think anything that kills it should count as a minion and not a champion, however. Notable effects include Veigar's Q passive(2 bonus AP seems to be safe), resets like Tristana or Eve, Devourer stacks, and so on.

Specifically, it's a clone, so it doesn't really ever 'die'. It just poofs into magic sparkles.

So is it intended that her ult spawns an extra tentacle if you have a champion's spirit pulled? That seems a bit strong IMO, especially for duels
