All these ideas Riot has are Subjective.

The only Objective FACT that came out of all their lofty ideas = VERY FEW Champs were picked on the competitive stage. And their audience do not want that.

Exactly. Every game has the same 40 champs in it, and they try to justify that?

16-20 of them are regularyly picked. the other 20 are picked if a lot of the main picks are banned

elise , lee sin, reksai, poppy, trundle, maokai , braum, bard , zyra, viktor , ryze, leblanc, cassiopeia. ezreal , caitlyn , jhin.

those champs have most likely been picked more than a nameable 70+ champions. actually 70+ champions have probably not gotten picked at all in competetive.

To be fair, you don't want champions like Garen or Yi to be viable in competitive. If they were, they'd be so broken in regular ranked they'd have pick/ban status and ridiculous stats. To use Dota 2 as an example, since everyone loves to brag how all heroes are viable in that game, you have heroes like Omniknight who has a constant win rate of 60%+ and has a decent pick rate too. Wraith King, possibly the simplest hero in any moba (he has 1 active skill, the rest are passives) has a 56% win rate. Could you see Garen sitting on a constant 56% winrate? That's the price of making all heroes viable in competitive.

Honestly I have no idea what that win rate would look like. Here's the logical question that needs answering when it comes to thinking about win rates. Do people who pick a champion because that champion has a high win rate contribute positively or negatively towards that win rate? How does knowing the stat (in other words, champion popularity) affect the stat itself? This is why i have a serious issue with making win rate an indicator of champion health. It's a statistic that can influence itself.

Other objective fact: No one wants to go through the shit that'd be required to increase champ diversity in the pro scene, so the whole discussion is a waste of time. It's actually frustrating that they made that discussion to begin with, like I'm supposed to be stupid enough to think they honestly care. They might, but not enough for this to be more than just some random ramblings that don't mean shit.
