Watching old league videos makes me so sad for the way this game turned out.

things weren't perfect, a lot of champion's kits were clunky AF and there were balance issues then, but for the most part everyone didn't just 100-0 unless they were really fed. You played the game how you liked it to be played.

If you wanted burst like now, you would buy sword of the occult and well, you'd have to do well, which made it rewarding and the feeling of occasionally carrying a game felt good.

Now it's more about which champion blows their kit in your face first.

I know I have a hard time letting go of the game and it's because the old league got me through highschool and made gaming with my friends so much fun. All my old friends quit league because of how the game turned out. And yes, like all my friends quit the game. All my IRL friends anyway.

I'm not a fan of the one-shot fiesta the game is right now either. That's why I moved to maining Top. At least my laning phase is somewhat engaging. I used to main support, but now it's just a matter of your ADC messing up once, and they insta-die. Falling behind in bot lane is so easy due to all of the free damage floating around. You either feed or get fed.

TBH i like watching old keyori, uber, ssethtzeentach and dunkey league videos sometimes, it reminds how good league was back then. Too bad the so called pro play ruined it, i bet most "pro players" are only here for the money and they dont care about the state of the game, it was a good game while it lasted.
