Does cho'gath counter splitpushers

Im a yorick main in b4 and I consistently get good scores and siege down all the towers and we win. I. Played against a and cho'gath that didn't know he could eat minions I guess and he only got one stack. It was not fun laning against it because it felt more slow paced than laning against other champions. The thing about cho'gath is he's an absolute counter to combo champions and is good at sandbagging lane. Basically, there was a Donald Trump tremendous wall around the towers in top lane. Believe me ; ) . Anyways, if someone is allowed to sandbag lane, does that hinder a splitpushers ability to push said lane and does cho'gath counter splitpushers. If so, I'll have to go for more of a fighting build. I literally use the same strategy and build each gam which was run it down top and open the trick2G gates and then run it down bot and do the same and then group with my team and wipe them since only one thing left to do. but if the situation changes, I will join fight and change my build like when I had to deal with singed top. Annoying af. Forgot masteries because autofill fucked me and I forgot I almost had to play ADC and I lost lane to teemo when I counter and same concept. Change build. Anyways does Cho'gath block splitpushers from pushing lanes.
