another rework where they gut all base damage. and then give them 1-2 new utilties that make up for nothing that was lost.

Basically.

It's still not anywhere near karma in terms of difference though.

Karma still worst rework in the history of league to me. RIP karma

She still has a weak early game, her mid game is markedly worse than before, and she doesn't hypercarry/scale anymore. By winrate, she's the worst ADC in the game, she has a sub 50% win rate in every matchup (including Varus).

They gutted her AS, her trademark range on her passive, took away her old E which was a decent trading ability, lowered her ult AP ratios (was needed though AP trist was toxic as hell), and overall just made her much less of a hypercarry.

There's currently almost no reason to pick her over anyone really unless you need a load of self peel, even then Jinx does what she does 5x better with a bit less safety.

Um, well she wasn't popular until mid-season 4.

That's when they took out the mana cost for her Q(Patch 4.4). Before that, she always ran out of mana. Terribly difficult to play, and outclassed hard when lucian and jinx came out. /nostalgia over

IMO, I think she's sleeper OP. She has an escape/finisher W, a healing reduction E, hard CC/finisher R... good ratios, higher range than every adc except caitlyn. The key is timing her ultimate

She has an escape/finisher W (true) a healing reduction E (not anymore item 3070 ) hard CC/finisher R (I don't consider knockback to be HARD cc, but that's me (yes, I know by definition it is), and her "finisher" is one of the weakest ADC finishers) good ratios (are you kidding?) higher range than every adc except caitlyn (Jinx says "hi", and is debatably better at everything you mentioned except for the W)

*yeah ok they nerfed e.

I still think she's sleeper op. The range of her passive is HUGE. even if nothing else is lol

I think Tristana is better than people give her credit for, but clearly weaker than Jinx , which is why whether or not Trist is "sleeper OP", Jinx is "blatantly OP".

Riot recently buffed her Damage ratios on her E, and gave it a cast time that scales with AS. Riot is trying to give her a more defined playstyle though their still balancing that playstyle's power.

I think she's good power wise, though she may not exactly be meta at the moment. While her E has good burst damage, doesn't exactly shred tanks that much, and obviously doesn't have nearly as nightmarish late game. A lot of the ADC's now a days favor teamfighting, over objectives like dragon and Baron. So snowballers are in favor of late game carrys.
