please give us a keystone rune that makes tenacity reduce forced displacements.

if thats even technically possible, i think it would be a pretty interesting option for a keystone rune with the new rune system.

power wise putting this onto a keystone rune would make it a significant investment. so the effect might turn out to balanced enough.

i think it would be awesome, if you could pick this against teams that are heavy on displacments to only get knocked up for a reduced duration or knocked back or grabbed by a reduced distance.

honestly if i ever dodge a game in champ select ... there are generally three other players on my team who would liked to have honored me...

Forced displacement? How's that different from a regular displacement?

And I don't think it's possible to have items that reduce the animation of displacements.

Thresh lantern would be an example of non forced displacements.

same for Kalista ult.

im referring to everything that is an enemy knockback or knockup or a similar mechanic.

as far as Urgot new ult goes, that shouldnt be a problem since it has technically infninite range.

it should only affect abilities that push or pull you limited distances like Tristana ult for example.

Ok, so Sion's Q is a forced displacement?

Really not a fan of displacement effecting items because of how that'd fuck over Sion.

not an item. i think it should specifically be a keystone rune, since it forces you to dedicate a serious portion of your power budget for such an effect.

in case you forgot, the new keystone runes have largely more powerful effects than even the current keystone masteries.

like grasp affects every enemy champion in a certain range for example.

And I doubt they won't get nerfed to be more streamlined anyway even with a huge power budget.

i mean yea, it would allow for merc treads to reduce the knockup duration on abilities like sions q.

but on the other hand, it would also mean that the guy fighting sion wont have any of the other powerful effects that you could get off the new keystones.

like look at this version of grasp for example that applies to multiple enemy champions. and the damage and sustain youll get off that in a teamfight.

im not going to hide the fact that i would love something like that in combination with the new 60% tenacity window on courage. Garen

i just think, this could be an incredibly awesome keystone ability. imagine you block a Vayne or Tristana knockback by reacting just the right moment and are rewarded by managing to only get knocked a short distance and stay close to your target.

but its intended to be a serious tradeoff.

Which would only make it more painful against Sion because of how telegraphed his displacements are.

Hell it would really mess up small displacements like Trundle and Yorick.

to my understanding, the entire beneft of trundles and yoricks displacements is to disrupt abilities.

in that sense it doesnt really matter if that displacement is 0.1 seconds or 0.05 seconds long. you could still disrupt abilities like an enemy summoner 12 by throwing a yorick w into the correct position.

otherwise, i think you underestimate just how much knockups there are in this game by now. heck, even the new champion has a knockup when he goes for the rhaast transformation.

I know there are a lot of knock ups in this game, I just think they should be harder to hit and not be something you can make less effective after getting hit.

From a Yasuo main this will sound weird... but do it Riot. Please give yet another reason NOT to ban Yasuo. I'm tired of watching that tier 3 champ get banned every match, almost always twice in a lobby mind, while actual strong champions slip through the cracks.
