Why is Ryze so bad in ranked but so good in competitive?
He's sitting at 43% winrate in plat+ ranked but has been played many times throughout worlds.

His ult takes a lot of team coordination, but when it's pulled off right it could win some games. Even in worlds I forgot who but 2 people went into a ryze ultimate and a zyra just set up her ult and they got rekt. He's also a late game champ and usually games end or just snowball to much before he could start doing any real damage.
Teamwork makes the Ryze dream work.
LCS has oodles of it.
Because his ult and at worlds hes not gonna troll with it
Because LCS players know how to play Ryze in a premade 5 game. <- Premade Five.
TEAMWORK. Because Ryze is basically being used as a backline assassin now and that requires teamwork since he can get focused real fast and solely lose a game off of a bad ult.
