@Riot how is the True Damage from IE and Conquerers going to stack?
Is it additively? 20% + 20% = 40%
or multiplicatively? 1 - 20% = .8, .8 - 20% = .64 so 36%

if you're curious in these types of things, why don't you get pbe and test it?
Example. If you deal 200 damage, 40 is true. Then you deal 160 damage. 32 true dmg. So you deal 72 true damage and 128 physical That 128 damage will be reduced by your opponents armor.

Wouldn't it make armor a bit worthless knowing that
are a thing ?
Idk about worthless but they are constantly nerfing tank items and stats.. so meh. Also idk why my explanation was downvoted.

and how is that a difference from right now?
Yes it would make armor COMPLETELY worthless.
You gonna be far better off building
+
and calling it a day than stacking armor.
Slight oversight in this chart. It is impossible to have only 80 armor with

Well... Kinda true. But not really. There are ways to shred armor
for example, or your opponent might have other means of flat armor penetration.
But 80 armor were serving more as point of reference. Most champions would end up having a bit more than that without building a single armor item.
Tried full build Yasuo against a target dummy on the PBE......
Was doing more true damage than physical damage. Against a 100 armor target around 271 true damage and around 268 physical.
