Why is camille getting reverted on pbe?

This is some kind of ninja buff by the riot balence team. Camille was released pretty powerful but that it what they wanted. The players cried out about how op camille was so they were forced to nerf her.

Riot probably figured that if she was nerfed consecutivly over a couple patches until she was garbage she would be forgotten about.

Now on pbe camille is getting a 20% damage bonus on her Q true damage, which is the same as it was when she was released. We have reached full circle. This is why the balence team is incompetent. They do the same mistakes over and over and over

Her damage wasn't/isn't the big reason she's not liked (to play against) and banned for the most part. it's her mobility and ult that gets her banned more than the damage. Both of which got nerfed. She also got her sustain nerfed. Does she need buffs though? I don't really think so, but the 20% back won't make too much of a difference if you know how to fight here.

If she gets a jump on you or you don't know how to duel her or if she exploits your cooldowns it'll make a bit of a difference.

They nerfed so much of her kit that I don't think that's going to break her. I like the buff because it gives her dueling power back a little. I can't tell you how many times I will be about 2 kills ahead yet I can't kill the other laner without my jungler because she is weak. I don't believe that is right. It has forced the champ into a farm and roam mid playstyle which most meta top laners don't do because they split and duel but Camille is weak at dueling now. If you try to fight most of the top laners you will get beat hard early and mid. Late you win unless against fiora, Jax, yi, etc. Here are the nerfs since she was released op.

DURATION: 4 seconds at all ranks ⇒ 2.5/3.25/4 seconds

An analysis shows sustain was dramatically decreased, her ult power was stripped quite a bit (1.5 seconds is a lot and could be two more autos of current health when dueling), slow decreased and decays now, tower taking ability decreased with e nerf and if you miss e you will lose trade due to no damage, stun, and as buff.

And so returning the q damage would not make her broken. She needs some type of buff. To compete with the meta top laners.

Camille had a perfect storm at her launch. She was launched around the holidays (a time when everyone is buying new champs, gifting, ect.), she launcehed as a fighter (a class that, along with assassins and skirmishers, gets a lot of negative attention), she has more utility than many of the recent new champions, and it was exasperated by the fact that Camille is designed to deal with SPECIFICALLY assassins, which everyone was googly eyed about due to the recent assassin update.
