This means if the enemy picks yasuo mid and you don't have one of the select few champions that can function against him, you will be useless all game

If we're gonna go by that ideology that because he has one skill on a long CD that can invalidate skill shots you suddenly become useless then shouldn't Kayle invalidate pretty 90% of mid laners with her ult considering it's meant to counter burst damage? Not only that but she counters Yasuo as well so just pick Kayle? Or I guess you could work around his windwall or simply stun him before he can use it.

Lets see, champions who have tools in their kit that can temporarily reduce my super high damage abilities to little to nothing....

or u can just auto attack him to death and poke his ass down and if he wants to get feisty and push ur lane ask for ganks
