If riot wants Garen/Darius/Etc to be in top lane and actually do something they need to do one thing

They need to nerf those champions Gnar Maokai

Because what the point to play Darius or Garen when gnar can easily build tank and outsustain you and outdamage you?

Or to pick some other tank but then the enemy pick Maokai who can outtrade you and outsustain you?

Gnar and maokai need nerfs!! i know the free elo abuser would downvote this but its the reality!! Top lane right now its ether pick gnar/Maokai or irelia if you pick any other champion enjoy your lost lane!

Gnar base damage is way too high!! his %max damage need to be nerfed i dont care if riot keep his MS but the damage need to be nerfed!! his Gnar form base values need to be nerfed too!! I mean FORCE champions to build AT LEASt one offensive item not just hurr durr sunfire cape BV randuim and now you cant kill me but i can outdamage everyone in the team....

Same with maokai!! %MAX HP DAMAGE is bad for the game in general but when you put it on tanks then the top lane is a mess!!

So before riot go all the way with new kit and stuff for melee champions first they need to nerf this 2 champions!! Then maybe top lane would be a good spot for champions that are not gnar/irelia/maokai!!

And how you know that Gnar is broken? When he is only counter is Vladimir!

Gnar has been broken for a long time. But he isn't outright toxic to play against and he's so cute so it's hard to hate him. Despite him completely outclassing most top laners, he probably won't get nerfed.

he isnt toxic? spamming Q with no mana costs so even if you try to harass him he will outsustain you!!

No CD on his Q because he can catch it and use it again!!

A jump that even when you manage to go near him after the Q slow he can jump away

A W that have no cool time and he can apply it on you again and again and again giving him MS

AND EVEN IF YOU MANAGE to deal damage to him and actually catch him now he passive giving him free Stats 3 new abilities and 400% AD ratio base values damage...

And you say that he is not toxic?
