Leblanc one shotted a same level gp by pressing qre is balanced to mage mains
But if gp built a defensive item to counter that cancer ap burst, mage mains will come out and complain how they are the weakest class in the game lmao

Leblanc is Mage?
Oops sorry leblanc is ad
Scaling with AP and dealing magic damage doesn't make her a mage.
Right then explain why graves is considered an adc by gameplay when he doesnt even play like one rofl
For the same reason Teemo is tagged as marksman/assassin, those tags are crappy. This still doesn't make her a mage.
LeBlanc is an AP Assassin, her role similar to that of
and
. The only difference is she is ranged and has slightly longer range spells. There is a clear difference between what LeBlanc is and a Mage.
LeBlanc is the Assassin character of Assassin/Mage, Ahri is the Mage character of Mage/Assassin.
I honestly wouldn't consider LeBlanc a true Mage or balance her similar to one due to her being much closer range and having insanely more mobility.
Who Mage mains speak of when they say Mage is
and
and
, not
or
or
. Mages are much more poke oriented and less mobile than the latter.
And somehow graves corki quinn generalizes into adc when 2 plays like a bruiser and one is mostly magic dmg. K
Doesnt matter she still builds the same AP items.
LB is an assassin
They are the weakest in terms of itemization (well; calling them flat out the weakest is most certainly wrong; but they're weaker than AD champs are in terms of itemization)
I don't care if someone can build Hexdrinker or Spirit Visage or what have you to counter my damage; just that I should have relatively equal options, whereas mages currently really don't (Hexdrinker is VASTLY superior to seekers armguard for instance)
Edit: the buildpath for zhonya's is also pretty garbage now that I think about it; if only because you're forced to sit on the 1250 gold for needless since it doesn't build from anything*; whereas maw users can get dirk which builds out of longswords after their hexdrinker)
*Seriously riot fix this for the mage update, there is no reason for needlessly large rod to not build from something; make it Amp Tome X2 and some gold so we aren't forced to sit on that huge mound of gold doing nothing with it.
Mages have the best itemization for the past few seasons and mage mains are used to being the best at everything
LB is not even a mage...
Youre right shes a tank
Mages have the best itemization for the past few seasons and mage mains are used to being the best at everything
To be quite honest, its only really an issue now, because AD itemization got exponentially better with more items and buildpaths being added; so they have many more options than they used to be, while mage itemization (which was formerly better) stayed exactly the same.
This is just the long process of updating everyones itemization so that everyone has good buildpaths and numerous choices they can make.
Edit: While I'm at it; LeBlanc is an AP assassin.
"To be quite honest, its only really an issue now"
And this is why I can't take mage mains or their cheerleaders serious.
Of course its only a problem now, when it was literally the exact same thing in reverse it was balance and fair because AP, and Mages!

Except it was a problem then too, reversed. I may main mages but I still see both sides of the issue. I hate it when people think you can't just main a class because you enjoy it but that you automatically need to be completely biased in its favor.
I could even apply the needlessly large rod logic to AD itemization; Why the hell is B.F. Sword still a singular item, there is literally NO reason for it to not build out of something like Longsword + Pickaxe + gold (or longsword X 3 + 10 AD in gold)
When I said it was only an issue now; I meant that AP itemization being weak is only an issue, because AD itemization is stronger now; should AP itemization go back to being 100% absurdly dominant? No, AP itemization just needs to be AS strong as AD itemization, and AD itemization completely deserved the same treatment.
Is it really THAT much to want a somewhat balanced split between classes (if you want to call them that)
Some how I doubt that you were making these kinds of post in the past in favor of AD champions. It seems like it has only become an issue for you since you no longer by default get better itemization. And now you don't want to to what AD champions had to do for years, which is make what you have work.
I don't think you ever cared about balance until your main role ended up on the wrong end of it. I mean you say you want AP and AD to be equal but it was only once AD became better.

Pretending like you know what I want is somewhat haughty of you, but i'll bite.
Only 2 of the champs I play frequently use AP at all (those being Malzahar and Cho'Gath; who are both absolute cancer to play against as melees anyway, but thats a story for another day)
Originally I didn't even have mains, I just picked whatever I liked; my favorite just ended up being Xerath (this was way pre-rework; like 2013); Talon was pretty fun too but I eventually played him less frequently
BOTH sides of the scale need to be balanced, when one is stronger than the other, the game sort of just falls apart at the seems, I'm completely for AD itemization getting changes again if it needs them post-AP changes, if I'm able to rush some kind of new Anti-AD item against Zed, then by all means he should be able to rush Hexdrinker against me (or whatever else happens to exist like it)
Yeah ofc there was stuff like hydra, pre-nerf botrk, bc, old brutalizer AD itemization was so crappy. For years.
LMAO
Hint: not a mage main
And they were nerfed immediately after a patch or two where as ap itemization remained the top for years and only became inferior due to a recent change for ad. Biased af rofl. And lol you brought up bork you cant even name more than 5 champs that abused it when it was "strong"
I've seen so many posts about AP-Itemization was so OP and superior and blabla....
THEN WHY DIDNT PEOPLE SPAMM MAGES!!!??!!! there was NO TIME in League where we got even close to 5 AP Champs per game, super rarely 4, rarely 2-3(Once we got those comps but that was a quite short time, cant even remember the season) - usually it was exactly one mage sitting in Mid, Utility/Tank on Supp, AD Bruiser in JGL and something swith HP/Engage on Top.
In season 5 and 6 Full AD Teams become common, they're even picked in compeditive! But yeah keep telling everyone how OP AP-Itemization is and ignore the fact the Ability based Champions have completely different requirements because they're always bound to resources and CDs.....
AD was always superior, ADC are mandatory and AD was/is heavy favored in Jgl....
Cant take you seriously sorry
And here, dear visitors, we have the rare kind of people out of arguments - but be carefull they're are shy. :)
Sorry i domt bother with delusional mage mains and their ridiculous claim. I could easily list out the timeline from season 2 and clearly show ap was superior every season but nah cuz youre delusional af lmao
Every Support scales off of AP, Some mages even go Support. There are more mages than assasins, especially AD ones in mid lane. There are plenty of AP junglers, and Mages have taken over top lane more than once.
The only role that Mages or AP users have never been in is ADC and thats because Attack Damage is in the name.
Ofc we had AP on each role so far - hell it would be horrible if not looking at the pool. I tried to point out that those complaints about OP itemization are ignoring the fact there never was a Mage Spam. A Time with AP on Top Jgl and Mid at the same time! A time where Galio was OP because of his massive MR like Rammus and Malph are now. If AP Itemization really is/was that OP like people make it sound, than: WHY?
I tell you, because the stat AD is just superior to AP which is compensated by Items to some degree.
@Supps: I dont talk about AP scalings, I talk about Itemization which is not used my (most) supps. Yeah some supps are building Full AP but W/E that not that much of an issue.
(And come one this whole Itemization was not even an issue... yeah some people who didnt understand why it would be bad cried for AD-Zhonyas some guys wanted (and got) CDR options for ADCasters. But that's it, there never was larger problem. The guys complaing about AP Items where AP-Players them selfe, oppressive Chalice, stupid Liandrys cheap Morellos OP-DFG-Rush... I didnt read a single thread about useless AD Items, OP AP Items (some people complained about bad MR Items just they complained about terrible Armor choices.... at least... until Riot released this riddiculous OP and oppressive Hexdrinker WHILE making Maw a core Item! Suddenly everyone states how OP Mages Itemization is.... sure thing...)
And there was stuff like DFG, Zhoyna's that gave 120 AP, old Athene's, Magic pen boots, Archangels staff, old Rabadons that only cost 3300, and let's not forget Mejai's is sill int the game, what happened to Sword of the Occult again?
Yep AD has been right thier with AP in variety, efficiency, and strength for years.
Say what you want but I don't remember 4 AP compositions EVER being a good idea, like 4 AD seem to be ok now. In fact I remember compositions with just one AP out of 4 champions with access to gold being dominant through the years.
But yeah, Rabadon 2stronk.
I'll just CopyPaste this:

Assassins aren't mages...
you tell them girl
A: LeBlanc is an assassin who just happens to do magic damage. She's not really a typical mage.
B: Just prior to LeBlanc one-shotting him, GP had one-shot an adc with a single barrel crit.
C: Weakest class is misleading, since Lux and Galio are both considered mages... while one is pretty srong and one is never picked by anyone and probably needs a rework or at least a buff. You can't generalize roles like that and make a point since there are too many champions of each role and not all will fit your point.
D: People complain about EVERYTHING. Not sure what the point of this post was. To... point that out? To bash mages? To bash LeBlanc? To ask for GP buffs?
