Why Kindred are so popular?

I am not complaining. I am actually curious since they are a rather new champion, and as far as I know they aren't considered to be OP or anything. So why they are so popular? On my server at least, they are having Elise levels of popularity.

Also, another question. Why everyone use item 3707 on them? I see item 3710 to be much more appealing. Despite the fact that it has been nerfed for ranged champions, Kindred's passive is a rather good on-hit effect and they are constantly auto-attacking. They also have very good synergy with attack speed.

Because even people who have barely started playing Kindred have win rates of over 53% in the jungle and over 50% as an ADC.

I have never seen a new champion release with win rates this high (I'm relatively new though, the first I saw was Bard tbh) after only a single patch.

I really hate having to say this because I love everything about Kindred, but she might be too strong.

LOL!

You just missed release Ekko! You want to talk too strong? Release Ekko had virtually non-existent mana costs, His w was invisible to enemies until about 0.5 seconds until it went active, and his Ult was FREE!; WITH a bigger nuke box!

Bard was broken in the literal sense on release, almost un playable he was so weak and glitchy, getting pulled back for re working less then a week later. TahmKench , not sure, guess it just took people a little while to learn his ins and outs. He's gotten some small buffs, but nothing game changing. :P

Kindred feels balanced enough to me at least. Although I STILL haven't been able to play her without getting 2 -3 man ganked in my jungle before lvl 4... :P

Yeah, and? Ekko still had shit win rates for a few patches, and still does to some extent. I specifically mentioned her win rate being abnormally high for a new champion.

Kindred's win rates are extremely high, as in, the best in the jungle and one of the better ADC win rates high. This is when the average Kindred player has a whopping 4-5 games of experience on her. That's pretty fucking huge, especially considering her relatively high play rate in the jungle.

New champ, who wouldn't be excited. On another note, Kindred sucks.

Honestly, I think the problem with kindred isn't the champion, its the fact that people try to play Kindred in lane. Kindred needs stacks in order to stay relevant in the end game, and lane Kindred just doesn't get the stacks.

I do agree with the OP though, SD is a much nicer pay off than Warrior for early game advantage. You build LW anyway so the small amount of flat pen warrior gives you is over shadowed by the on hit damage SD brings.

Kindred is new, Hunts are extremely fun to get (you're gonna kill your enemies anyways, why not hunt them while you do it?) and his level 3 damage is something no one can get enough of. item 3930 item 3931 item 3932 item 3933 IS more appealing and a much better item on him, and item 3707 item 3714 item 3719 item 3723 is rather weak imo.

Kindred is entertaining, a cool concept, and once you know their playstyle, insanely powerful. A strong ganker, one of the easiest junglers I've ever played (and the only one where I can literally never need to recall if I play it right), and they have some pretty cool team fight strengths.

If you know how to use Kindred you would choose Jungler. Kindred is a GREAT Jungler. Also Its a new champ. everyone wants to get the newest champ.

I don't see Kindred more than once every 25-30 games. O.o Don't know what you're talking about.

And they're not all that great, either. A good Kindred is scary, but anything mediocre is easy picking.
