Yes. PBE is about balance too. 90% of the nerfs pass by the PBE so they can see if they are balanced. Tresh range nerf, Ryze nerf, lucian buff and nerfs and the win rate impact of them.
Most games in PBE aren't serious. Matchmaking is legendarily bad and it's hard to get testers that are any good to go test anyway.
Riot internal testing is a better place to get balance feedback, but they're prone to groupthink.
There's really no good path to zero balance escapes.
Azir the king of bugs.
This story was pretty weird for me. They knew he was broken, they got tons of bug reports with him, they still released him per the previous schedule.
Now we have a bug where the jungler monsters get stuck on the baron pit ( syndra toss).
Remember when Poppy could push the baron into enemy turret range? Fun times.
Gaming now days is all about delivering a broken product and patch it up later. (braum instakilled on baron ? =])
Honestly I rather enjoy our annual breaking league routine. Balance is overrated when it comes to fun, at least in small doses.
