Rito didn't learn their lesson from Ekko at all

Tank Ekko was a product of overloaded assassin kit, Rito spent a whole season to gut him by literally removing parts of his kit and now he is in a very shitty state, probably one of the worse assassin in the game.

Now they made Rengar, even more overloaded than Ekko, and he can go full dmg snowball when ahead which ekko can't, while his tank build is disgusting more so than tank ekko.

Rito have you not learn your lessons?

AP ekko was always better than tank ekko.

It was just harder so people took the easy route.

AP Ekko is complete garbage, period.

AP ekko was never garbage. Some people are just not skilled enough to play him. Just check his new winrate, its over 50% as ap. Can't call that "complete garbage,"

AP Ekko used to be largely unsafe and hard to start snowballing with. Conversely tank Ekko was easy to make a comeback with, and hard to deal with while ahead.

Except regnar doesn't have the insane CC that tank ekko hard. That might change some things.

tank rengar is balanced right now, but idk if tank rengar being viable is a good thing, he is intended to be an assassin.

Tank rengar is basically a Tahm Kench but instead of a shield he gets heal, and you can heal twice very quickly as you stack your passive.

yes his cc is not as strong, but he still has a 1.75s slow and root, while having a shit ton of movementspeed buff and stealth.

seriously tho, that 30 second stealth with 40 second cd, basically perma stealth, who the fuck thought that was a good idea?

I quick check on OP.GG shows both champions with full damage builds, with the odd exception of something like cleaver or abyssal.
