Is anyone still excited for Kindred?

Our Lamb and Wolf reaper is nearly here, but I already feel kind of "done" with the novelty and hype. Although it's taken me a long time to find an actual appreciation for Tahm Kench and enjoy playing him.

I'm just waiting for the next simplistic but cool champion without a dozen gimmicks in their kit, like Vel'koz or Lissandra (two of my favorite mages).

I don't know if I"m burnt out or whatever, but already waiting for the next champion on the even of Kindred's release feels bad

Now that she's so close I'd just be excited if she doesn't get delayed again.

I am. But I'm waiting for her to be on free rotation.

Really I'm just more excited for preseason 6.

Oh yeah me too, Pre-season 5 and start of season was an exciting time. I want to see the Marksman changes. Maybe Kindred will be more exciting then.

In general I'm more interested in reworks than I am new champions at this point.

But those might as well be the same thing.

Maybe it's just reaching the Pokémon state of things for me. Loved the original 150, kinda liked the second generation, but after that it was "there are too many of these things". Reworks keep the same number of kits, regardless of if the kit is brand new or not.

I'm excited to spend part of the 20,000 IP I've farmed up.

It's the same feeling people got for Ahri, Wukong and Ao Shin.

Riot delayed them, and by the time they come in, most people are just like, "Oh yeah, you finally did that thing. Cool."

Why is everyone so obsessed with having "simplistic" champions? I just don't get it. Kindred's kit is very simplistic, and plays like an ADC (just spam AAs and throw in an ability or two to make your AAing even better). We don't have many Azirs (one of the highest learning curves and lots going on), but instead we have a lot of rather boring, simple champs.

I'd rather they make more mechanically difficult champs that are rewarding to play well (Azir, Ekko, Gnar, Yasuo to a degree, and so on), and fail miserably when played poorly, but fun as hell to play; League tends to reward incompetence and laziness too much -- but, you know, that's where the money is, so I'm not surprised.

As a Sion I am dreading it. an infinite "HP stacking tank" vs an "infinite HP% attack per hit ADC" who is mobile. I'm worried this is another dig out the ol' undead juggernaut shoot what's left of his corpse some more, then bury it again. Not to mention her E is another % damage source. GRANTED this seems much more balanced now a days since it is not HP% True damage, and can build armor against it. Anyways there is enough Mobile Anti-tank ADCs and making more is only going to dig the grave of tanks even deeper. As a person who plays ADC seldom, it is nice to make a jungler ADC though. ADCs need much more diversity and out of that bot lane, while more combos need to made into bot lane. Kindred may be a bad champion design IMO, but hopefully is a start for a brighter future for ADCs.
